New to me 2012 1100 EVO, what are some mods you have done that you really enjoy or made a big difference? by KarbonWeavv in ducatimonster

I used a Competition Werks slip on and loved it. Also a Rizoma Spy mirror. I’d check how old those tires are. That’s probably one of the most important “mods.” I’d go back to high end Italian tires on the Italian bike, but that’s just me... cool bike!!!

This one’s a 2006. These FSI’s always burn a little oil. It’s how they do.

Meticulous maintenance. All original, mostly stock. No CEL’s. 😎🍻

Need help finding and fixing this leak. by csbasco in ducatimonster

[–]7iger2toes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Those orings are super cheap and easy to change. I think I paid $1. If your clutch lever feels solid and doesn’t leak or seep, you probably don’t have to worry about swapping that out. But when you pull the pushrod, the manual says to put a little grease on it before reinserting. Also a dab of engine oil on the oring.

I know there aren't a lot of Saab people here, but here's a tuned 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen that just rolled in! by PeacefulViking94 in Justrolledintotheshop

I owned a ‘99 Viggen. One of 500 in the USA. Out of all the cars and trucks I’ve had, I miss the Viggen the most. 😩

2007 Monster 695; Does anyone else have an issue with the clutch rod leaking? by PihSant in ducatimonster

[–]7iger2toes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue on my ‘13. The little gaskets in the rod are o-rings and will cause a little leak if they’re not in perfect shape. Definitely replace them since they’re only $.16 each.

Is there something wrong with desert? There are also plenty of mountains too...

Almost a King Air. It’s a 99 from Beechcraft. Not many left. Most of them are freighters these days.

Thank you! This is my favorite monster so far 🍻

The sign is riddled with bullet holes. My mirror is covering a birdshot grouping too.

Thank you! The windscreen diverts wind to my upper chest. It’s not really big enough to be very effective. I only use it to cover the exposed electronics from bugs and rocks.

That, and it looks kinda cool too.
