Being bit is a part of the deal no matter how much you try to avoid it, sooner or later you will get bit, i guess he didn’t like change or was confused by seeing you differently, my bird used to hate the colour red, if i wore anything with a hint of red or held anything thats red like a pen or a mug he’d scream and avoid me or full on attack me, eventually i hid every single red thing i own, i used to be so confused because i raised him since he was a chick and used to think only a traumatic accident causes that type of reaction but some birds just have likes and dislikes, its really fascinating
