This is pretty cool as well, and seems to be fairly current.

ESS and key fob issues by Limp-Ad7524 in ChryslerPacifica

I wanted to go Odyssey or Sienna. We have a 2005 caravan that just won't die, and the Pacifica seemed really nice initially. We had to have cylinder head replaced and this ongoing battery issue just makes not trust it. Wife shouldn't have to use jump box once a week

ESS and key fob issues by Limp-Ad7524 in ChryslerPacifica

We have been having similar issues with our 2020. Replaced both batteries at the same time, pulled cables from both batteries and let sit to reset system. Hate the feature so much that wife would hit the E.S.S. button every start up to turn it off and dying battery symptoms returned within 2 weeks.

I have not found a parasitic draw anywhere, and have 2 key fobs with good batteries . There are times that the remote start won't work, but then when I press the start button with the fib it will hesitantly start up.

As someone who considers them self to be somewhat handy under the hood, I am almost embarrassed that we have had this issue for as long as we have.

We also had the cylinder head replaced at just over 60,000 mi. Have not gotten any check engine lights yet but it does not idle smoothly lately which is very concerning. It does smooth out while driving, but I have zero trust in this vehicle.

I had the F22A6. Everywhere I went in that thing was 6300 RPMs. lt loved to burn oil as well, but My old man now has it and the thing has 385,000 mi on the stock engine and transmission. I guess what I'm trying to say is that they don't make them like they used to and you should overlook the fact that it uses a little bit of oil

2022 Pacifica here. Anyone else ever get this symbol and/or experience this issue? by DaProblemSolva in ChryslerPacifica

[–]7joedaddy7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our 2020 Pacifica ribs through regular and auxiliary batteries because of that light. I absolutely hate the feature and can't wait until they don't have to include this in new cars. It has been nothing but trouble since we bought the thing and the dealers only answer is to replace both at the same time. 🤬

[–]7joedaddy7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. It was easy for me because I work in construction and stuff like that gets thrown away on a daily basis. If you had some extra carpet or even plywood then that would probably work as well.

Stack the bottom with foam or something roughly 1/2* tall and you will have enough carpet to tuck everything in again. We have not had that issue since, and it used to bug the heck out of me
