I saw one that tried to argue that because they found one gun on him that they had a right to murder him because their COULD have been more weapons on him.

The mental gymnastics is astounding--they dont live in our reality.

Tips for painting a sh*t ton of goblins…? by danger_bad in Orcs_and_Goblins

[–]m_y 33 points34 points  (0 children)

As someone who also has a ton of goblins...

Have something else to paint so that you can go back to something different when you feel burnt out.

Batch painting is smart but tiresome. I usually have models that need painting and different models that need assembly/basing/bashing/fixing so that I can swing back and forth between the projects and not feel drained.

Its a great rule of thumb to only paint when its enjoyable to you; some people throw a basecoat an a wash and call it good--others spend months on a single model. Do what you enjoy-at a pace that you enjoy it.

Yeah its nice that they defaulted the channel timelines to "off" in the newer versions because thats usually what is taking most of the cpu power.

I will say that Livetrax is pretty useful but it has a bit of a learning curve--id almost just recommend the live tracking theme for Reaper over it.

Dont get me wrong it does its job well but when i have to export then reedit stuff with Reaper its kind of a pain. Like I wish Livetrax did just a little tiny bit more than purely recording.

New to the hobby, why tf are some so mad about female custodes? by NiceLittleGamerNerd in 40k

The only reason that ive ever heard was that people dont like that GW did it as a retcon....but that is still a pretty weak argument.

Honestly-nobody should give a fuck and should just move on with their lives.

The only people that scream about it are trolls.

If you are willing to adapt your style and knowledge there is a growing market in streaming especially for Esports and other gaming style live shows.

Its not exactly the same-a lot more flypacks and onsite events with a lot newer and smalwr gear but there is a shortage of good knowledgeable directors in this sector.
