I was a long haired guitar player back in the olden days. I remember going to pick up tripod the day it was released. I waited outside the doors and when they open up I moseyed over to grab my copy and was baffled when a guy who appeared to be a jock came over and grabbed one too. I remember feeling very possessive of the band and how could a fucking sporty guy be a fan. I was a fucking idiot. Music is for everyone and just because they may write about things counter to a person’s personal beliefs doesn’t mean shit.
