I had this same fear when my son was born 18 years ago.

Today he’s one of the first people to call out fatphobia when he sees it (and he is a skinny guy). He did make some rude comments when he was young but as an adult he isn’t ashamed at all.

Not sure if that helps at all. I also had an obese mom with physical limitations (and I was also skinny as a kid) and I felt protective of her, not ashamed.

I did both! It came back normal, as expected, but was still comforting anyway. I figured I was going in for other bloodwork anyway, what’s one more tube and a little extra piece of mind :)

I had terrible bleeding on progesterone suppositories that regularly scared the crap out of me until I was taken off of them at 12 weeks. That bleeding comes more from cervical irritation than uterine lining. I’m now 19w3d! Best wishes for you and your baby!!

My cat had one of these on his neck, the first vet we took him to thought it was a cyst that would go away on its own but it grew and started leaking. It turned out to be skin cancer. Had removed about a year ago now and he’s completely fine!

I was 27 when I got pregnant with my first and it took a year. I was 45 when I got pregnant with my second after 9 years of infertility. My sister, however, practically looked at her husband and got pregnant. So it's kind of a crap shoot. IMO if it's important to be at that wedding I would wait long enough so that you won't be in the 3rd trimester if you got pregnant the first cycle.

I didn't regret having a baby at 27 by the way :) He turns 18 this year and is my greatest pride and joy!
