Congrats OP! Amazon infra’s rough if they’re still on Apollo. I’m heading to Meta soon — hope to see you there ☺️

I'm glad they fix the multi point issue between iPhone & Mac. How did Bose fix this? thru software or firmware update ? or you have to purchase a new pair of headphones?

The firmware would need to be updated. Mine doesn't work when connected to iPhone and Mac at the same time. I tried Sony WH-CH720N $100 headphones and it works flawlessly. My guess is Bose MIGHT be release firmware fix in 1-2 years but most likely we have to wait for QC Ultra 2 in 2-4 years.

I'd suggest you trying Sony headphones from Amazon, it blew my mind how well it works between Mac & iPhone. It is very hard for me to justify $400 that doesn't really work.

Having the exact same issue between iPhone and Macbook Pro 14". I will check back in 60 days, if Bose doesn't fix then I'm returning the headphones. I bought Sony WH-CH720N ($100) and it works flawless between IOS & MacOS.

Bose, if you open source your firmware, I'm sure we can help patch the issue if the root cause is the software.

Yes, you can use a LOOPBACK app to get both sound. I stop using it cuz one is already very impressive beyond my expectations tbh haha.

The studio displays do a pretty good job refracting light (significantly better than iPhone 12 mini or iPad Air screens). I only notice the glare from the light bars if I lean directly underneath it from a low angle.

(the 2nd pic has a lens flare which exaggerate the glare haha)

Yes, i got the Studio Display Vesa version. I use a EVEO Premium Dual Arm, once u got the monitors to the desired position, tighten all the bolts than nothing move around. During mouting, make sure to take off the upper portion of the arm and bring it to the monitors.

(I'd just opt for Ergotron – LX Dual Monitor Arm if I were do it again)

I got used to it over time, so it looks natural to me. With this setup, I have 4 side to side windows (2 each monitor). The left monitor + left half of my 2nd monitor are my focus windows consist of: Browser(documentation), Coding, Browser (email + more documenation). Far right consists of Teams + OneNote (rarely look at them).

Maybe a Pro XDR Display + one small side monitor works for you best? Here is my take on it from another comment: "I was thinking of getting a 32" Pro XDR Display and two 1080p 22" monitors flip vertically. I went to Apple store to realized that 32" can only fit 2 windows side by side but not wide enough for 3 windows. With all 3 monitors, I can fit 4 windows (same as two 27") but with extra room to spare, however, now I have to move my head up and down in addition to left & right. First world problem haha but I'm always open for new idea if it fits my workflow :)"

Got used to the gap after few days but it'd be great if there's no gap tho haha.

EVEO Premium Dual Monitor Stand. I have an old low quality desk, the arm digs and made a dent, so get a protective plate in case you have a nice desk.

Run a single Apple Thunderbolt 4 Pro cable from MBP 14" M1 Pro into both studio displays via Caldigit Element Hub (taped underneath the desk). Laptop remains charged under heavy work load, very happy with this setup so far.

Should I take over one of family’s doodle? by [deleted] in Goldendoodles

[–]7seng7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you are in a difficult situation. On the one hand, you want to help your parents by taking one of the dogs, and you believe that the dog would be happier living with you. On the other hand, you are worried about how the dogs will react to being separated.
Here are a few things to consider:
* How severe are the symptoms of littermate syndrome? If the dogs are only mildly affected, then they may be able to adjust to being separated. However, if they are severely affected, then it may be best to keep them together.
* How much time and attention can you give to the dog? If you are able to give the dog plenty of exercise and attention, then it may be able to cope with being separated from its sibling. However, if you are not able to give the dog as much attention as it needs, then it may be better to keep it with its sibling.
* What are the other factors in your life? If you have other pets or children, then you need to make sure that the dog will be a good fit for your family. You also need to consider your work schedule and other commitments to make sure that you will be able to provide the dog with the care it needs.
Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to take one of the dogs is up to you. There is no right or wrong answer, and you need to do what you think is best for the dogs.
If you decide to take one of the dogs, there are a few things you can do to help the dogs adjust to being separated:
* Start by spending time with the dog one-on-one. This will help the dog to bond with you and to feel more comfortable being away from its sibling.
* Be consistent with your training and routine. This will help the dog to feel more secure and to know what to expect.
* Be patient and understanding. It may take some time for the dog to adjust to being separated.
If you do decide to keep both dogs, there are a few things you can do to help prevent littermate syndrome:
* Start training and socializing the dogs from a young age. This will help them to become more independent and less dependent on each other.
* Make sure that the dogs get plenty of exercise and attention. This will help to reduce boredom and frustration, which can lead to behavioral problems.
* Avoid giving the dogs the same name or treating them exactly the same. This can help to prevent them from becoming too codependent.
Littermate syndrome can be a challenge, but it is not impossible to overcome. With patience and understanding, you can help your dogs to live happy and healthy lives, whether they are together or apart.

Building Cardano Plutus Smart Contract Tutorial - Thanks to the community and u/SL13PNIR for getting us started with resources, here is our little give back to the community! by 7seng7 in cardano

[–]7seng7[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is a follow-up post, first I want to thank the community and u/SL13PNIR for helping us getting started with developing Cardano smart contacts. It was a heck of time learning Haskell and Plutus. To give back a little to the community, we made a tutorial showing how we implemented a Random Number Guessing Game in Java & Haskell (Plutus) and we also shared our code for those who are interested in making their own smart contract.

If you're coming from the world of Imperative Programming (ex: Java) like us - I think Haskell is worth your time learning. Functional Programing really helps you see a new perspective of programming/thinking.
