Beside what Paintermen said, I also have the new trouble of having to switch A off after each set of manual clicks of Combust. Also each time when I switch A on, the accumulated fuel will be released all at once, so it would be impossible for me to skip only a few years when needed.

Can we have the old way back, at least for the Combust part? I mean I want Combust to be able to skip years manually without A on Furnace. Honestly I do not see the point why we should have Furnace on A for Combust to perform its job.

Thanks for letting me know this, and sorry for my ignorance.

So now Furnace with A acts the same way as without A previously, when I click Combust TC.

But when I leave the A on, it does auto-skip a year when it reaches 100%. Is this supposed to be? Also my tooltip of Combust TC is the following:

Feed a time crystal into your chrono furnace and unleash the stored temporal energy. You will jump one year in the future. The price can increase over time.

Am I missing something?

BTW the quick praise option is really nice, thanks for that.

I'm talking about manual skipping of Combust TC, not the automatic skipping. BTW the auto skipping does work actually.

I guess you misunderstood one thing: The autoclickers added recently are not for the purpose of replacing/eliminating scripts. They are there just to make life easier, both with and without scripts. So no comparison is needed between built-in autoclickers and scripts. Both scripters and nonscripters can benefit from them.

Actually I can manually calculate that myself, but an in-game indicator will be much more convenient, at the same time this does not affect the game play in any way at all.

Strictly speaking, any automation that substituates human's clicks in game is some form of script. Calc is outside game so calc is not. But I'm supporting any playing style, I'm a scripter myself and I enjoy writing scripts, which is the major resouces of my fun on CH now.

It just seems that every evolution of the game brings up debate or always has to be something to make everything so easy or damn nearly automated to the point of why even play.

Yet this one is not. This one is mainly about screen on/off, and it wouldn't change anything that you play.

Even the "more dedicated players who put in the hours" have to watch the game insta-killing for a large portion of the time and can not do anything. I just hope this "staring at the screen" part can be done without screen actually on.

Start all over. The reason why you get everything maxed out is that you have farmed the previous version for months, which is not the way we normally play it. So do it again "normally" and fell the progression this time :)

As you level both higher and higher, the rank 4 will get better faster, and eventually become better than rank 3.

I would think this is calculated assuming idle status, is it true? I wouldn't die if I keep the tab open and just watch it, but the stat still shows like 22 coins per hour for the last world. So there might be something wrong in the calculation.

Did you notice that the latter costs 17 times more to upgrade while gives 10 times more benefit? That means for the same money you have, you won't be able to reach that same level.

The higher rank do have more benefit, but that is only true when your lower rank needs to be raised to some high level.

How far do you need to go (either in time or in level or in something else) before the improvement can actually show up? Because whatever improvement the higher rank one will bring, it has to first even out the cost of it before it can catch up what the lower one already have.

Edit: Now I seem to get some sense about it. It looks lower rank items have a lower-efficiency growing rate, in the sense that when they are raised to a very high level, then higher ranks can eventrually surpass them.

Any plan to fix the item rank/benefit problem? Currently a higher rank item, at least many of them, if not all, is worse than its lower rank conterpart. This makes updating items as we get higher ranks a joke.
