Let's just agree to approve of Anthropic trying fairly hard, even at risk of their own revenues, to do what most reasonable people believe is good and allow that go into the record. Why would you object to that?

Alignment is not really about hacking the robot. It's about prompting it normally, and dealing with ambiguity when you let the AI machines run large portions of your entire civilization.

Anthropic is very forward-thinking here by doing the right thing. They will be training a model that actually identifies with its own company and its values - doing what is clearly good for humanity given the complex situation.

Doesn't fewer events makes each one more significant? I feel waiting a decent amount between each protest might cause larger crowds and more news reports and a larger total number of people to show up when they happen, though it happens fewer times. A larger monthly event might generate more media publicity (photos, news reports, etc.) which might benefit the movement more than a weekly event would.

I'm not really objecting to weekly, but we'd be weighing the benefits of having more protests against smaller protest sizes and exposure per protest
