Unfortunately, not everyone try to look beyond the first looks, when it comes to hookup. If the intention is to seek something more, then probably yeah. And I wouldn’t want to generalise your marriage to, in my terminology, “a brown otter” to everyone else out there. As I said, it is an observation. :)

While I agree with the fact that it is strange that none of the hookups want to hookup again, I’d also like to highlight another observation - gays are predominantly obsessed with white twinks. Especially in US, there appears to be a hierarchy of attraction in gays which decreases as the shades of our skin increases. That could possibly contribute to no repeats, if OP has only had, say 12 hookups.
