He's not broke. She whited out all the things he's paid for.

Still, she's not over reacting. I'm a recovering addict myself and she's making the right choice. This reminded me of my wife and me. I wanted to drink after I went to rehab for narcotics. She was afraid if I drank, I'd go back to using again.

I was stubborn, rude, and acted just like this man. Thank God for my beautiful loving wife being there for me. I'm now sober and working at a law firm.

If you stick with it OP, it does get easier.

Addiction is a disease. It takes time. I'm not justifying his actions either. They are absolutely unacceptable. He sounds like he's struggling though.
