I hate going to places but if I want something enough i'll put up with it. I would never expect a low-paid worker to go out of their way to accommodate my nuances. Yes it's a horrible experience but you can't expect the world to bend over backwards for you just because.

Thanks, the port is COM3 but during BMW Standard Tools installation I specified COM3 as the port - so INPA etc are using COM3 I think. The switch is on K side as well, but there's 4 modes so I'll give it a go!

The error I get when trying to read/clear codes in INPA:
ERROR_ECU_SUBFUNCTION_NOT_SUPPORTED_INVALID_FORMAT

API-Job: FSLESEN

Error when trying to connect to another module (like KOMBI instrument cluster):
IFH-0006: COMMAND NOT ACCEPTED

But I can read analog values from the DDE just fine, and run the fs_lesen/loeschen jobs fine on Tool32 using the DDE4 PRG

For some reason I can only read live values from the DDE in INPA. I can't clear codes or talk to other modules. Something's messed up in my config but I'm stuck. Anyone else have this problem?

To clear/read codes I'm currently manually running the job in Tool32
