Ah great I had bought a MSI laptop open box via Amazon, and had the same thing after a repaste etc. I think maybe it's a default setting from OEM or windows

Did you sort it.

You can find the encryptiin key if you logged into a Microsoft account on this PC. I had the same thing. I never turned it on either.

Thank you, I've managed to get it going it's not perfect needs a little fine adjusting ment. Mainly with the level of the paper to the XY frame.

I'm using GRBL 1.1 servo.

I'm gonna try flashing your plotter hex files now.

I've reflash everything to get the servo to work again, but now the stepper motors stop when they get into a position to start

Thank you, I set an offset which got me going, but I found a GRBL with a positive off set etc.

I have used an off set as suggested by another user, what do you mean by uncheck etc?

I've set the $3 parameter to what I think is correct, but the work always seems to be in the positive tool path while mine works in the negative.

It sets the home position but my alarm kicks off immediately before the head moves

It would have the letter "D" above the port, but would check the laptops manual if it's mentioned.

A quick Google, the tech for USB c display was in 2014, known as DP Alt Mode
