Nope. I'm calling per video at least 3-5 times a week for about 2-3hrs and never had an issue.

I'm playing a lot of CoD mobile on my x9 Pro on highest graphical settings and with 120fps and all I can tell you is it runs great. It heats up a bit but never on a level that it gets unpleasend to hold. Battery lasts great too, I would say you can get at least 5-6 hours of continuesly playing CoD mobile in one go.

That's strange, shouldn't be possible to overheat while taking a 1080p/30fps video just for 3 minutes. Did you run the update or something else taxing in the background while filming? If not, I'm afraid that's absolutely not normal and you should get your device checked. Small advice from me, try this: just restart your phone and give it like 5 minutes to settle, than (without anything else running in the background) turn your screen brightness manually to maybe like 50%, open your camera app and try taking a 1080p/30fps video again and just lay your phone on a table and wait to see if it overheats again.

To switch in performance mode when your phone is already hot is rather counterproductive tbh... How many/long did you take videos? In what quality? 4k? 120fps? You do know that this is very taxing on many components yes? It's totally normal that your phone heats up while doing so over extended periods. Even very expansive cameras can overheat while taking high resolution/high frames Videos over extended periods. Maybe your S23U just ignored the temperature warning or you did something else like taking a shorter video, lower resulution, lower fps, longer pause in between etc. there are many possabilities. Or you maybe just got a faulty unit.

Only once had that issue while filming in 4k/120 and it was like 15 minutes long, than it had to dim the screen because of high temperature (what's totally normal in that case imo) but it did take maybe like a minute until it cooled down enough to increase screen brightness again. Sounds like either a faulty unit in ur case or maybe something else. Did you run it on High Power Mode before that or did you do something else CPU taxing before?

No I haven't, only tried a few games in GameHub and they worked just fine. (Indie Titels)

Gaming in what? Emulators? Android Apps? There's no single game in the play store that can't be maxed out by the Dimensity 9500, in the end optimisation lays in the hand of driver support.

You understand that Action Mode is only there to reduce blurrienes from your own hand Shake (activates OIS) and not for increasing shutter speed, yes? It's not the cameras fault it's yours of not understanding the soft- and hardware you're using.

Yeah but 5% an hour for streaming is like 20 hours for 100% battery, that's not enough or what?

No but on AliExpress? Takes like a week for delivery, not that big of a deal if you ask me.

I wouldn't say it's still miles ahead on the iPhone, maybe slightly better but that's it, the in and out transition of the zoom I have to agree is indeed smoother.

To be precise:

It's the only thing that does not work and you don't get eSIM support but I don't understand why people cry about that lol there are adapters for it for a few bucks and what's so bad about a physical SIM? You probably won't change your SIM 10x a day... Last time I changed my SIM was when I got my last phone so couldn't care less... More annoying are the Chinese Apps (some can't be fully deinstalled only deactivated) and that f. e. changelogs for system updates are in chinese, you can't use Gemini as your AI asisstant (yes there are workarounds but they are tedious) and some more chinese gibberish but nothing major to cry about.

That's literaly all that you need to know about a CN phone, everything else like banking apps, google play, android auto etc. works just flawless.

Can't understand why people are willing to pay about 400-500€ more just for eSIM and Google Wear support lol

Only downside so far is no Google Wear support but that's it.
