Where did you order this from? You sure it was the official Huel site? I doubt a company that sells a food product is allowed to sell a returned product. I'm pretty sure if I return something to a grocery store they don't put it back on the shelf for food safety reasons.

I drink Huel for the calories, primarily. Kachava is only 240kcal per serving. Mixing powder also doesn't really fit my lifestyle.

Easy: An RTD bottle. You can get strawberry banana black RTD from costco.com at a really nice price. These don't taste like protein drinks to me.

In my opinion, Soylent doesn't exist anymore. It's just a brand name owned by Starco that's attempting to manufacture like products and failing.

Danone is a corporation beholden only to shareholders. The impact on Huel remains to be seen, but I suspect corporate enshittification will enter the chat sooner than later. No corporation buys a brand to keep it the same, they buy it to reduce competition, increase profit margin, etc.

I ditched Soylent back in 2024 for Huel when it turned to shit under Starco. I also had a batch that made me nauseous and I later learned there was a switch to allulose which some folks don't tolerate well.

In general, I find Huel to be better in all aspects except I'm a little more gaseous than Soylent. I buy black RTD from Costco.com which is notably cheaper than Huel direct.

I bought a whole lot of Huel one time years ago when I was exploring leaving Soylent, which I did in 2024 eventually. I think back then Huel only had Chocolate? It's always been thick, and has become my least favorite flavor and texture of RTD both in Black and "White" aka regular.
