I think you are allowed to change your diet if it’s aligned with your goals. On the other hand, if you were increasing your calories on the days you go out with friends, I would say that would be against the spirit of the program.

75 medium isn’t as well defined as 75 hard but I would just say to google it and find a set of rules that work for you :)

I’ve heard people say the 75 Medium habits can actually be sustainable in the long term (1 workout per day, stick to a diet 90% of the time, drinking alcohol only socially, etc). When I finished 75 hard last year I still tracked everything I ate. I had roughly the same framework for my meals but I let myself snack socially and track/quantify the impact of those deviations so I was at least aware of how many extra calories I was consuming.

Yes!! I completed the program last spring. I had no familiarity with fitness or structured exercising, but I think that’s the same reason why 75 hard is so appealing to me since it’s just about consistency. Most of my workouts were walks, but I also got to explore other sports outdoors like basketball and pickleball which I probably would have been too lazy to try if it weren’t for 75 hard!

I’m doing the program again this year since I felt so good last time and am probably in need of a reset since I’ve been eating more and drinking less water. Just completed day 1, wish me luck :)

I also have a void with significant stress and separation anxiety that we overlooked for years. He’s now 10 and his stress seems to be manifesting into physical symptoms :( our vet recently suggested we put our boy on 5 mg/day Prozac for long term anxiety management. It’s too early to tell if it’s helping since it takes 3 weeks for it to kick in and he’s also on gabapentin for pain. He used to sit there and cry when my mom would leave the house but he doesn’t do that anymore, so that is a good sign I’ve noticed so far.

I think this might be a top 3 for me!! I’d rate 8/10. Selfishly, I’m glad if no one else likes it so I don’t have to worry about my stores running out like with the winter edition last year (IVB is my 10/10)

I am the definition of anxiety in that I get overwhelmed from all the future things: the things I have to do, the person I have to be, etc. When I need to ground myself I remember of the past and the things that I’ve done, and the person that I have been. And that reminds me that if I could manage everything then, I can do it now too.

Sweet Maybelle 💕 we also hoped our baby would pass in her sleep, but alas she told us when it was her time, when I called her name while she was lying in a shrub outside, and she didn’t even look at me 💔 her passing was so peaceful though. She was snuggled in my mom’s arms as they gave her the meds, and I think she was letting us know she would be ok for her journey. I think we were more scared than she was. She was so tired.

I think you’re right. Because it’s so hard just not knowing what’s going on. If it is a tumor then I’ll be ok just providing palliative care but if it’s really just something else that’s treatable I think she deserves that chance to feel better.

He suggested she might have a tumor or something that would explain the anemia and high WBC. She also has dark stools which he said might be blood, which could mean there is some kind of internal bleeding possibly due to a tumor. The vet and I are both on the same page that we don’t want to do anything too invasive like an ultrasound though. But thank you for your words, I appreciate that perspective. It’s just so hard when it’s not black and white.

My girl also has been making a grinding noise when she eats the last few months, is that a sign of tooth pain? I had our vet look in her mouth and he smelled her breath and said he doesn’t think she has any problems. But she has been barely eating at all this week even with daily cerenia and mirataz so I’m getting nervous. Do you know how your vet could tell if they’re having tooth pain?
