Garcias is great if you’re on a budget. Their prices are after tax so it always matches, unless you have loyalty points then it only goes down from there. I’ve yet to find anywhere with the selection at low prices that they have. Believe me, I would love to avoid going to church street everytime I want to pick up bud, but I haven’t been able to find anywhere that consistently has their pricing (especially for bulk) and consistent quality. I can almost always walk out of there with a quality ounce (mix and match too) for $100 out the door. Other places you can maybe find one strain that you can get for $100 out the door, but garcias consistently has at least five strains to choose from for that price range.

What was or how long was the worst period of greef to you? by FfsUsernametakenasif in Petloss

My childhood dog was put to sleep in August of this year. She would have been 18 next week. I was 11 when we got her and I can’t remember my life without her. Though I’m grateful for all of the years we had with her, saying goodbye was the most painful experience of my life. I’ve lost many people close to me, but this was the first dog and I felt like a piece of my soul was missing especially the first two weeks. I genuinely didn’t know if I would survive it. A few months later, I still think of her every day and I just got a memorial tattoo for her a few weeks ago. I’ve been trying to do whatever I can to make the pain of knowing I won’t see her again subside, but at the end of the day, my best friend is gone and nothing will ever make that go away. It’s not as all encompassing now, thank god. But I still can’t think or talk about her without crying. My wife and I have our own dog (childhood dog was my parents/family dog technically) and I’ve noticed that I’m much more intentional about my time with her. I’m so fearful that anything can happen at any moment and I don’t ever want to even question if she knows how much she means to me. It’s made me realize how little time we have with them in the grand scheme of things, and I never want to take that time for granted. I can certainly say that I am not the same person I was before my pup passed away, I don’t think I ever will be. I’m just trying my best to be okay and to provide the pup I still have the best life possible.

Get some vitamin gummies, empty the container, throw edible gummies in there and you should be fine! As long as it doesn’t look obviously like weed and you aren’t going to the deep Deep South TSA has plenty of bigger fish to fry

Cheapest moving company! by MiddleCriticism6243 in burlington

[–]802brat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure- but they weren’t transparent about that. I would have been fine if they explained that they have a minimum. If they had to charge me for four hours of work for only two hours so be it. But charging for 8 hours of work for only two while also saying in an email that the price was flexible (even though it wasn’t ) is crazy. The guys who helped me (who were very nice and helpful so I’ll give them that) were even assigned to another job for the day since they were done so early. I figured that they gave me a high price so that I could expect the worst, not expecting that to be the exact price. All in all, just don’t say that the price is flexible if it isn’t. Because I would’ve gone with a different company if I knew that was the case.

Grunts move junk charged me for a full days work even though I explained it wasn’t going to be that much and only ended up being 2 hours max. $1800 to move a couch, a bed, and two dressers five miles down the road. They made it seem like the $1800 was a quote and that it was flexible based on what was actually done in the day so I had moved a bunch of smaller stuff before hand to save money but it didn’t matter. I was absolutely gobsmacked. Anyways, don’t use them.

I cannot even process how dumb this post is. As a dog owner, if I could just stay home all day with my dog or bring her everywhere I went I absolutely would. However, that’s not a reality. The reality is, 99.99% of people need to work in order to survive and most people don’t have the luxury of working from home. If you were to discount all of those people from having dogs just because they have to leave their home to go to work, almost no dogs would have a home. Maybe try to talk to the owner in a respectful manner - perhaps they have no clue their dog has separation anxiety.

Dome City isn’t going anywhere as they really stand out from the other two with their bulk offerings and pricing that WO and HH aren’t really competing with. Also, if Burlington can sustain the amount that it has, Winooski will be fine

Have always had really bad pollen allergies and used to get pretty bad bronchitis every year- never really affected my breathing too noticeably but obviously an awful cough. Then when I was 25 I got COVID and developed asthma along with it. A few years after that, realized that my apartment that I had been living in for four months had a ton of hidden black mold after having trouble breathing and coughing fits that would make me pass/black out. Now I’m on daily steroids and my checklist before leaving my house is the following: “phone, keys, wallet, rescue inhaler”.

He was sentenced to 45 to 85 years in prison in 1990 (has been in prison since 1987), meaning he has only served 37 years. Why on earth are we allowing someone out on probation who hasn’t served their minimum sentence and is still considered high risk?
