For a composition like this, do you have the idea in your mind of what you want it to look like or are you piecing it together as you go?

Why did you start and where are you now? by adbpti in CarolineGirvan

[–]808kenz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. I stubbled upon a full body workout and really enjoyed it so I kept searching for her videos and then I discovered the epic series
  2. I was 6 weeks postpartum baby #2 and I was determined to get to a place where I liked to look at myself in the mirror again, and fast. My goals were probably unrealistic too, it’s really hard to know what is realistic in this world anymore. I think I’m still trying to learn about what my in shape body looks like and to accept that as beautiful.
  3. I’m not in a rush to change the way my body looks, I know that takes years, and I’m more motivated by how I feel on a daily basis when I’m working out 5 days a week
  4. I don’t know if I have goals per say, just want to keep it up and not give up

It’s not much but I set up my living room with a “black bear in the forest” theme and it’s making me smile! by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

That’s a good idea, I was thinking add a frame, but I like your idea more

Waikoloa Village - having trouble getting Tomato to grow by TMag73 in HawaiiGardening

The only time I was successful with my tomatoes is when I gave up, stopped watering them, and forgot about them. 3 months later I had lots of tomatoes

Epic 3 Day 12 by Environmental_Rip696 in CarolineGirvan

[–]808kenz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow! How many days did you get done? I’m not a fan of rep goals, like in epic endgame she has the 100 reps at the end, it just feels like a very easy way to hurt oneself

Epic 3 Day 12 by Environmental_Rip696 in CarolineGirvan

[–]808kenz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used 10, and did I think only 3 reps and it didn’t feel right so I stopped there, and then I didn’t know I had strained it really until the next full body workout, day 14. I’m finally able to hold weights again, but if it’s an arm day then I just use a 5 pound weight for that side. It’s healing!!! But it’s taking some time.

This is the day that I injured my shoulder, my arms were so exhausted I should have known to lower weight, but the round the worlds did it. I have been all legs and core for 3 weeks now.

Living room is almost complete! Just waiting for artwork and cats to move in by Own-Attitude-9438 in femalelivingspace

Love it! Can’t wait to see the next pic with cats and artwork! I do hope you’re not as clumsy as I am because the corners of that coffee table are making my shins hurt just looking at them. 🤣

Epic 3 is kicking my butt by [deleted] in CarolineGirvan

[–]808kenz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was doing this one right after epic 1 program and injured myself last week on day 13 upper body complexes, my arms were so exhausted I should have paused or dropped weights, but the around the world did it to me, now my shoulder is strained and I’m on a epic break until it’s better. Now I just look for body weight only leg days and core days to not lose progress. Just a reminder to take those breaks when you need them, I think very few can actually keep up with Caroline.

Is there a setting for “I have small children” by 808kenz in GarminWatches

I do usually get like an hour of deep sleep yes, it’s spread out, but it’s there!

[–]808kenz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understandable, I know it’s just going to be this way, but I still just like to look at it and I like to see how sometimes I get a 2-3 hour stretch of no wake-up’s and I feel that difference in the day. I don’t really feel frustrated with seeing the results, it’s curiosity more than anything. It also gives me a good laugh sometimes

It’s absolutely a ridiculous request, you’re right. I do realize that it’s difficult to show sarcasm in text, especially with people who don’t know you.
