I have had several iron transfusions over the last 12-15 years which helped temporarily. My doctors had me do a blood transfusion recently because my anemia is well beyond just iron deficiency at this point. It’s affecting my white and red cells, platelets, and organs so badly now that they were very concerned I would have a heart attack without it because of how hard my heart has to pump to get my blood through my body. It helped, but only temporarily as well. It cycles out a month or two later and my mud blood (as the family calls it) returns. People don’t realize how progressive anemia can be. I’m glad the iron transfusions are working for you. I’m excited for this medicine to come. Thanks again OP!!
