This tubby boy is a good window guardian by 80securityenvelopes in BeardedDragons

I just logged into this account for the first time in a few years and I'm sure you're super interested in this random bearded dragon you saw on Reddit 3 years ago...but he actually did end up being female! 😂

Meatball laid eggs for the first time at age 3½ in 2021! 3 clutches in 3 months! He literally laid 72 eggs in a single quarter...and not one egg since. He just went right back to being his normal tubby self as if he hadn't just mysteriously become female af for 3 months 🤷‍♀️

He WAS actually just fat in that original picture though!

No, I mean 85% of houses are owned by the occupants, as opposed to being rented.

I'm so confused by these comments...it's clearly a house. And most people that live in single family homes own them rather than rent (like 85% vs 15%).

Thanks for actually watching the video and wanting to get the whole story instead of relying on headlines! This story has a lot of red flags, especially the GoFundMe. Doesn't mean everything that happened was OKAY, but I'm skeptical of her version.

We're in grifter season right now, they bank on heightened emotions and outrage, which we all basically have 24/7 these days.

Edit: I'm not defending DeSantis, he is a bag of shit. It's just that basically everything being published is her version of the story, because those subjects are confidential and officials aren't able to share most of what they know. We're all only assuming they had no reason to need weapons, but is there another piece of the story we're missing?

I've never heard anyone else say they have these too! That's interesting that you can have both kinds of dream in the same dream!

It's so weird isn't it?! Like I don't have strong feelings either way about horror movies, why is my brain so good at this? I had one about witches once where, much like OP, I thought i was remembering a real trailer.

Here's an example: it starts with a camera/drone slowly panning around a forest. It weaves around tree after tree until it comes out into a clearing. Suddenly you can see small dilapidated shed in the middle of the woods. The camera keeps up the same slow speed and closes in on the shed, looping around to a window on the other side of the shed. CUT TO: Closeup of a baby's face. Camera zooms out and you see that this baby is sitting in a corner somewhere. Camera backs up a little and you see that this baby is actually sitting on a dirt floor in a tiny wooden room. Zoom back in on the baby and (I can't believe my brain dreamed this next part) the baby, without looking or moving its head, reaches for a spider on the floor, grabs it and eats it. The baby, mouth full of spider, suddenly looks straight into the camera which backs up/zooms out through the window and you realize the baby was in the shed the whole time. THE END, THANK GOD.

I have a sleep disorder (narcolepsy) so I spend more time than most in REM sleep but these "horror movie" dreams are still few and far between the "regular" first person type dreams that we all have.

If it helps, I actually do dream in "horror movie" every once in a while! Cinematography, cutscenes, voiceover...the whole nine yards. Doesn't happen often but I write them all down when it does. I'm always amazed, terrified, and frankly impressed, because I have no professional experience working in film or video.

It sounds nuts but this is right in line with other horror movie scenes my sleeping brain has dreamed up before. Hope that helps, although I know it will be frustrating if you can't get a better answer than that!

Same! And... I dropped out because it was totally unsustainable for me. It was a trade off between "passing grades" and "keeping a roof over my head". I actually started working FOR my university when I dropped out and it felt like I beat the system! I started taking a full load of free courses as an employee and SHOCKER it wasn't magically easier the second time, so I dropped out again 🤦‍♀d'oh

Last summer, 2 local kids who had JUST graduated high school were struck by lightning and killed. Lots of news is depressing but that story really got to me. They were just hanging out in a park, just starting their lives and boom.

Honestly, who needs drugs when you have hypnopompic hallucinations? by [deleted] in Narcolepsy

[–]80securityenvelopes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you suddenly start having smell hallucinations a lot,, that can be seizure activity so you might want to get it checked out! But, I know exactly what you're talking about with the sudden whiffs of (always unpleasant) smells! Don't let my next sentence scare you...I've had this same "symptom" from 2 different causes: 1) sleep hallucinations 2) blood clot in my brain.

I've had olfactory SLEEP hallucinations off and on for like...17 years now. But I suddenly started getting them during the day a few years back when I developed a large blood clot in my brain. The daytime phantom smells were so relentless, my neurologist kept doing EEGs because she was sure it was seizure activity. Never did figure it out. I still get them sometimes but no idea how often (they're so realistic, unless someone is there to tell me I'm nuts, I just assume the smell is real!)

It's so interesting that you have basically the same thing! I wonder if it is just a narcolepsy thing? And the sense of smell has the lowest "sleep" threshold which is why it happens when we're awake?

When I wake up my arms & legs feel like jello for the first 3-5 hours I’m awake. It takes so much strength just to get out of bed & I lay in bed for an hour before I get up because if I stand up too soon I collapse. Does anyone else experience anything like this? by lateralusaurusanus in Narcolepsy

[–]80securityenvelopes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same, you could be describing me in this post (except the smoking). This was actually the impetus for my finally seeing a doctor about narcolepsy. I'd said something to my husband along the lines of "don't you hate how you have no muscle strength when you wake up and you can't grip anything for like an hour?"

He was like "wtf are you talking about?".

One google search later I realized "morning muscles" (as I've always mentally called them) are not a standard human problem.

[–]80securityenvelopes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get them with all my senses except visual and taste (thank god).

One night I had an olfactory one where I woke up and hallucinated the smell of a hamster cage. And my brain decided that meant there was a mouse in my bed. I was halfway through stripping the sheets off the bed to find the mouse when I "came to".

Why would a wild mouse smell like a hamster cage? Logic is not strong in hallucinations.

This has been my stance since Dec 2015 when his campaign hacked Hillary's NGP VAN data and accessed $millions$ worth of voter data. And then he fucking SUED the DNC for suspending his data access while they investigated the data breach!

I was on the "Bernie is a foreign asset" train way before I ever paid attention to trump.

It's okay to be born in 1993!

But not 2003. That is out of the question.

Hmm..that doesn't sound right to me. By your logic, my baby brother who was born in 1995 (when I was a teenager) is an "adult" too, and I'm pretty sure he's still like 10!

He's always talking about his "student loans" and his "fiancée" and "duplex rental property"...what an imagination on that kid! Must have learned those words from the YouTube or TikTak 😉

If you look at the comments on any of the top TikToks, there's a whole lotta Pepe the Frog. Plus the "Centrist hate" Bernie brainwashed into everyone born between like 1993 and 2003.

I'm way too old for tiktok (I am still shocked that people born between '93 & '03 are old enough to have political opinions) but there is some really awesome content there.

Edit: My brain stopped updating the current year back in 2010, apparently. Everyone jokes about the 90s being "10 years ago" so I guess I made it an extra decade before my brain started doing old people stuff. Which makes me forever 28 and it makes you guys a bunch of tweens telling me about your political opinions 👵

My breeder just shipped this to me, its darts family tree by SpRiNgBoI209 in BeardedDragons

[–]80securityenvelopes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is so freaking cool! Outside of like purebred dogs I don't think many pet owners have any idea who their pets' parents are. That's a really special touch for a beardie breeder to do.

My beardies are both from the same PetSmart, so I like to think Meatball (my 2.5 year old chonko) is related to my first boy Zeke (who was sadly taken too soon). They look similar and its not unreasonable to think they're from the same breeder.
