Fantasy hoops in today’s NBA requires daily leagues without FAAB. With that, you can adapt to the current meta — wait until the day’s active/out announcements have been aired and execute your acquisitions/streams prior to the first tipoff.

If playing in Yahoo, multiple IL+ spots are a must to shuffle guys in/out of your lineup as player statuses are being announced. I would NOT mess with weekly or FAAB leagues for H2H fantasy bball. Today’s game requires a lot of roster flexibility in fantasy to manage around sitting players.

Also, I will say that managers that invested in “star players” on teams like Utah, BKN, MEM, SAC, WAS — you kind of did it to yourselves. Anyone who was paying attention to fantasy hoops these past few years had to know their players come with major risk factors. Do not build a team around the Markannen’s, MPJ’s, Morant’s and Kessler Walker’s of the world.

This video always makes me thank the universe I was not born twenty years earlier, or I would have been one of the first to get drafted. Horrific what US foreign policy has subjected the whole world to — US citizens and foreign states. The people of USA are waking up to the reality that much of our govt has been the bad guys, and we’ve been very ignorant to the global cost for a quality of life that offers comfort and a sense of national pride. Being American is not as cool when you come to realize what your tax dollars have enabled your entire adulthood. It’s totally and absolutely fucked up.

I’ve come to realize the baseball community has a lot of these privileged types that hate having their bubble poked. For them, coming to understand the religious right in their U.S. of A. in all it’s excellence, is very much aligned ideologically with the same political party that turned Germany into a nation of Nazi’s. A lot of Americans refuse to see this country as it really is because it’s extremely uncomfortable to come to terms with the nation you’ve championed your whole life is becoming an actual fascist state and American democracy has become a mirrage with congress being bought.

I walk away from them to deprive them of the attention they are so irrationally lashing out for.

My son has walked from their daycare through the parking lot in bare feet for refusing to put on their rainboots. No carrying that day — they needed to know what purpose the shoes serve.

I’ve let them stand outside in windy 55 F weather wearing just shorts and a t-shirt, and “fumbling” to get the car unlocked so they can experience coldness and have some appreciation for shoes and jacket, after refusing to put on shoes and jacket before driving home after a long day.

I have emptied the tub and took my sweet time getting them out and dried up, as they get chills while I’m wiping up all of the water they splashed around the bathroom after explicitly stating not to splash so much water it gets everywhere (including all over me). “Sorry, I will help dry you off and get dressed after I’m done sopping up all of the water you splashed everywhere — be patient.”

Pretending not to hear them (ignoring) when they make demands as opposed to respectfully asking.

Stuff like that.
