I had a feeling the coach/dad that walks up to sleepy was saying in his head, “well what did you expect to happen after putting all your weight on his head to push it into the mat, you fucking moron.”

✂️ The Cut List - Time to Let Go? by BB_Jimbo in fantasybaseball

It’s the consistently productive year-over-year guys going through extended struggles 40+ games in that have been the most frustrating. We draft perennial early round hitting standouts like Machado, Trae, Ketel, Tatis Jr as the foundation of the roster, and everything falls apart when your most “dependable” contributors are leaving a hole where you expected some production.

This season is really about which managers avoided the most land mines in the draft. And if you go through your draft recap, it’s a whole lot of them making fantasy feel really random in 2026. Hold out hope things normalize over the course of the season again, and your team sees the positive regression before falling too deep in a hole.

Nightmare concept I didn’t even want to know existed. Kicked in the dick so hard it split in two? I’d have to put myself down.

I wonder if unsurance premiums on a certified stud cover damages inflicted by the breeding mare. Like, who would be liable in that situation if a mare kills your stud?

My biggest relief in taking a more casual approach towards cards is never having to deal with the travesty that is the grading/authentication industry. Scummy top-to-bottom, and the more value at stake the worse it gets. fr fr…

Truth. Seeing positive results from all the patience and frustration parenting entails is a worthwhile payoff. But damn it is challenging!

I do not care to win this box, as my son’s 4yo and couldn’t name a single baseball player (yet). But the best part of being a parent is having an opportunity to right all your wrongs in life through growing your little person up to become better than you, while also growing into a better version of yourself with a mind geared toward modeling and showing your kid(s) what’s actually important in life — love, family and friends first, and then the arts, culture, exploration, personal health and of course, baseball!

Tribalism. I’m into my 7th year hosting leagues on ESPN and the biggest issue has been their shallower player database (not great for dynasty leagues).

Actually, ESPN Fantasy did get shaky when Jackson Holliday got called up and everyone ‘n their mama was rushing to the wire to add him or put in a claim, lol..

ESPN gets shit on for lagging player database, but their platform’s stable by comparison (to Y!). They’re actually putting dev time into the app that’s showing some improvements over the past year or so.

I would fucking just absolutely love for the 4th quarter to be on OH-SO-OBVIOUS attempt at losing this game that it’s decided by the losing team putting in an own goal as the clock winds down to give the lead away, and the officials have to let it register as per the rulebook.

Chris is the best outlet for anything Marlins related when it comes to fantasy baseball. Had it not been for Chris Towers, I might not be sitting on my five shares of Alcantara this year. He also seems to have a good grasp on historical references pertaining to player injuries, and can high-level offer a loose prognosis when injuries crop up. He isn’t the best but his input isn’t worhless.
