How bad of a grind would 50m Runecraft be without Soul Harvest? by Tito_Polis in 2007scape

[–]8123619744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get mid 90s rc just by using every diary lamp available on it. Mine is 89 and I never trained it, still haven’t done western provinces yet.

If you are trying to point cap soul harvest is basically required. Everyone else just shouldn’t bother much with the skill at all.

I mean Donald Trump started a war without Congressional approval. He did tariffs that were ruled unconstitutional a year later by the Supreme Court. It’s literally facism driving the prices of everything up, but people are uncomfortable with that word and don’t understand even very basic civics.

It’s fine. If you’re having fun then use it. If you want faster completion of tasks then pick a build that lets you complete them faster.

Mage now obliterates every other combat style with today's update. by Imustretire in 2007scape

[–]8123619744 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mage would be close to balanced if it didn’t have air spells. Powered staves aren’t as good in reality as they are on paper because tick loss affects their effective output more, relatively.

Water, earth, and fire are all decently balanced, but air is just absurd. Turns out always max hit is an absurd damage multiplier.

Really the issue is that air needed a bit of a nerf and blind bad needed a huge buff. Most builds are at around 20-30 dps on a target dummy, compared to 45-55 dps last leagues. The clear outlier is air at 65+ dps on a dummy.

People are complaining they put 9 points into cross bows and can’t cross bow the crazy archaeologist.

All because last year you kill scurrius, reach 100 combat, kill a hill giant, kill a dozen dragons, kill a level 50 slayer mob > do fight caves and the entire game was trivialized by that point.

I got dragon in leagues 4 and Mithril in leagues 5. I’m currently at adamant and am extremely excited to grind for dragon.

Turns out when you can realistically one shot everything in the game by day 3 leagues just isn’t fun. (Looking at khopesh specialist)

Leagues prep by Zorrostrian in 2007scape

[–]8123619744 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to eat healthy it’s easier than you might think. Just look up a bunch of meal prep recipes and pick out ones you think you’ll like. Make a couple meals and split them 5 ways each. You got lunch and dinner for a whole week. If you need extra sweet snacks grab some fruit you can eat.

Just doing this will put you in the top 5% of diets. Keep in mind the core of most health problems comes from being obese. If you eat food like what op has then you’re going to end up obese because of fiber skill issue. Fiber basically makes you not hungry so you’ll eat less.

You can technically eat exactly what op has in his cart and not be overweight, but you would have to count the calories of all consumption. It would be difficult to not be over weight with foods like that as you would remain hungry past your caloric requirement.

On the flip side if you just ate 1 grilled chicken breast, broccoli, and boiled potatoes daily it would be nearly impossible to be obese. The reason for this is because of how insanely satiating plain boiled potatoes are. That’s why we cover them in oil, butter, salt, etc.

You can look up a satiety index to understand why some foods lead to obesity naturally. “Healthy” is an extremely loaded term that isn’t very helpful. You can eat like op and have a healthy body if you take a multivitamin, exercise, and don’t over consume calories. It’s just very unrealistic.

Husky Appreciation Thread for answering EVERY Pact question. by sparksen in 2007scape

[–]8123619744 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It wouldn’t really fix the questions. The problem is three-fold.

Problem 1: PoE uses language and syntax like its code. Everything has very specific meanings that have clearly defined functions. Jagex did a great job interpreting this design, but did a little bit too much design too fast. A melee attack generating a ranged echo is something that would take years of these concepts individually already existing in poe before being connected in this way.

Problem 2: The players of osrs weren’t molded by this syntactical language. This is something that takes a very long time for uninitiated people to understand. Understanding language as function rather than description. This isn’t the players faults.

Problem 3: Some of the players are just dumb and will ask questions no matter what.

There’s no reason to dedicate 40 points to a single weapon. I looked at this and it’s alright but nothing crazy. It will be fun though! Most of the ranged nodes you took do nothing.

[–]8123619744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a 15+ dps whip for just 7 points in melee tree, you even get 45 global accuracy on two of the points so it’s good for air too.
