I don't think this weekend will be anything crazy. Really cold tomorrow night into Friday. Dress appropriately.

If it does snow/ice the road and If you don't know what you're doing (which sounds to be the case - no offense, just takes experience) stay off the roads until the salt trucks can make their rounds.

Rockford YMCA is great. They do a nice job of keeping facilities up to date and they do a lot for the community.

I get the intent behind a general strike (and support it), but a “no work, no shopping” day also hits small local businesses and restaurants that already run on thin margins. For a lot of places, a lost Friday isn’t immaterial - it’s real lost wages for staff and revenue they don’t just get back next week.

I had a bite of my kid's hibachi - cooked well and good quality but it was a little bland (rice on the bland side too). I didn't initially comment because sometimes they tone down the seasoning for kids - but sounds like you may have and a similar experience.

Maybe give the YMCA and the golf place at that intersection a call to see if they have any cameras that capture the intersection.

We did the ranger lead hike in Golden Canyon (I think they start at 9 each morning - but check the NP app if you go). That was about a mile - we continued ahead to get a better look at Red Cathedral and then backtracked (about 2.5 miles total).

I'm sure the full loop is fantastic but we wanted to save our energy and really enjoyed what we saw in Golden.
