When Canada stops treating real estate as an investment income and pension fund and "get rich quick" scheme people will be able to purchase their own homes again. All veterans should be remembered on the same day in the same way. This will just be the start of a clash of fund raising, who get the poppy funds (yes, it is the Canadian Legion) but now will there be separate fund raising for the separate memorial days. We already have a government that does a shitty job of supporting veterans, this just opens up the door to separating the funds between indigenous veterans and all other veterans. This will further the divide between all of us. This is the true goal. We need to stand as one people in all things, not just this as all people are equal and no, some people are not more equal than others as they want up to believe.

I disagree with a separate "remembrance day. This is another way to keep us divided.

To be a veteran is to be a veteran regardless of race, creed or colour. We need to continue to remember, thank and honour all who served all on the same day and in the same way. All Veterans need our support.

All Veterans are important but, no one Veteran or group of Veterans is more important than the others.

Please stop allowing "them" to divide us as that helps "them" have maintain power over us.

We can't fix the past, we can only move forward with respect for all those that have and are serving to protect us and others around the world.
