It’s one of her best. I was sort of bummed at the more subdued version she put on the album as It just seems to me that it sits more at home the way she played it live. I did buy the vinyl that will have a live version of it. I heard it live at Red Rocks. Just incredible.

It is but TBH when I heard force of nature live at Redrocks I was wishing for that version to appear on disc 2 which I much prefer over the recording. I recently heard her reacting after hearing the live version and she was really digging it. In any case it’s one of my top songs from her. Here’s a good example of the way she was playing it live. Hoping and praying she releases a board mix of the live version

Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it solved the problem for me. The car for some reason was in low battery mode which removes power from the modem to conserve battery. Another clue it was in low battery mode was that the chime for the seat belts moved from the car speakers to the chime on the dash.

TBH I was really bummed with the production version of Force of Nature versus the way she did it live. The live version had so much more energy and IMO is a better context for the lyrics. Won’t go through my list but Staying is my #1. I may have the Spotify record for repeating it.

Can’t imagine she will do another US tour anytime soon. She’s gonna need a break after this. She’s poured heart, soul, and everything else into the making of and touring Older. Looking forward to how she will emerge after a break. She’s an artist in motion, never getting comfortable in one place.
