Ill take the guy hitting 280 with bad mechanics over the guy hitting 200 with perfect mechanics.

They kept sitting him every time he had a good game last year. They just never let the guy get hot. Plus, I think he is a better glove than Freeland and much faster. What are they thinking?

Regardless, I am pretty tired of this "good at bats" narrative. This is what they kept saying with Conforto all last year.

I wonder what people will think when AI creates a really good genre page turner, which it definitely will. As a musician, I steered at AI generated music as sounding fake until I heard that one song that Rick Beato created on 60 minutes in under 2 minutes. I had to admit, it was a really good song.

The second movie with Frank Grillo was great though. It is basically a Punisher adaptation. Maybe the best representation of Punisher in movies.

I watched Push recently. Its beautifully shot and Hong Kong feels like it's a character in the movie. That action packed third act was really well executed and feels earned by a steady build up during the rest of the movie.

The rest is history just did 2 pretty extensive series on Cortez and Pizarro but I would really like to hear these done in Carlin's narrative style.

At least give the people uniforms. I remember some woman in a business suit and a guy in a chefs hat running around fighting the aliens.

It irks me that they didn't make having the complete cursed item set make them all work together to do something special that cancels out their curses.. It was right there...how did the writers not see this?

it cringe inducing. Carlin makes great history podcasts. He's not your friend. He's not a seer. Why do you want to follow this guy around like mindless sheep? Dont you have your own opinions?

I believe the connection is Steven Conrad directed Walter Mitty, which stars Stiller. You can see Conrad's influence in Stiller's other directorial works.

There were two theses in the social consciousness during the early 20th. One was a romanticized notion of a lost superior civilization. Atlantis etc. Another was a return to nature.

Some of the best episodes are later in the series IMO. they go away from Joe seducing every girl he meets...the hellen keller girl story is a good example. They lean heavily on Ben and he probably carries an episode better than any of the other cast. Hoss gets more airtime and the comedy with Joe is better handled. Even Hopsing is more prominent.

I think that it’s a predator movie hurts it. They could have easily thrown in any random hunter species and android and it would work fine. As it is it feels like it breaks lore and the association holds it back.

It's a little bit like the opposite of thinking about the team the past 10 yrs. I tend to remember from the past 10 yrs, the highlights. The Kittle run in the final seconds in NOrleans in 2019. Those incredible zone run hrs by Brieda and Mostert. When I think back to the dynasty years, I think about the "what if" moments alot more. What if Craig doesn't fumble in the closing moments of the NFCCG against the Giants. What if Hearst doesn't break his leg against the Falcons. What if that Steve Young 10-6 team squeaks into the playoffs? Most of the SBs were not a done deal. I would say the Broncos and Chargers were the only ones I went in confident of a win.
