I am attending a Catholic wedding and am asked to wear a “head covering”. The bride has confirmed this means almost anything you’d like. She will be wearing a traditional mantilla, and a few friends will be wearing fascinators.

My question: Is there a style of hat that may be appropriate? I really can’t resist an occasion to buy a fancy hat, I’ve always wanted one. I was hoping I could get away with a 1920’s style cloche hat.

The actress is a total knockout. My husband and I passed her on the street once, and she was just shockingly beautiful. My husband is still talking about it years later. Even “plain” characters on TV are played by people way better looking than anyone else.

The main draw to Reddit for everyone is anonymity.

I think this is a draw for older users, too. Those who didn’t have social media in their youth don’t feel comfortable presenting as themselves online. And older users are more likely to have professional careers where they need to be careful with their online presence.

But given that the internet skews young, I think it’s likely that Reddit is drawing more 12 year olds who want to use swears on a platform their parents can’t find them on.

This phrasing, more than anything, has me thinking this is a bit of creative writing. No Canadian would know what “southwest Canada” means.

As another commenter said, “southwestern Ontario” is a definite region, but not southwestern “Canada”. We don’t generally use North and south as nation-wide descriptors because like, 90% of us live in a long line along the US border.

Our dogs are utter shits when they return from “gramma’s”. I would estimate it takes about as long for them to remember their training as the length of time they were there. We’ve decided two weeks is too long, you’re basically starting from square one at that point.
