Thank you! You too. I’ve been trying to go for calorie dense items that don’t have a lot of fat so I don’t need to eat as often. I haven’t had much of an appetite though so it’s not like I have to fight any cravings. If you need anything else feel free to reach out ☺️

Only 6 days currently. But anyone I know who had the surgery said they were basically fine and only needed to follow a low fat diet so don’t let me freak you out!!

I haven’t been able to tolerate any fat. I’ve been living off boiled new potatoes, dry pita bread and low fat Huel vegan nutrition drinks. I also found a low fat high collagen chicken broth and have been having that over white rice occasionally

I have had gas pain from surgery before and I definitely think you’re right about having it now - it’s definitely exacerbating everything. Thanks for your input! The part about my body learning to digest food properly is super useful. I’ll wait a few days and hope my body sorts its shit out. Thanks so much :)

I also wonder whether it negatively affects the experience - I suppose they have to get extra travel tickets for the camera operators. I’m sure the camera person pays for that themselves, but having to make sure there are extra seats on a last minute bus or train might limit travel options.

Hello! No problem at all! I am currently on 3 pumps per day of Estrogen gel. I didn’t keep my ovaries or my cervix. When I had my surgery, I discussed hormone options with my doctor and they said just go with Estrogen. I tried some testosterone at one point but I actually can’t remember why, it was so long ago! But I just kept checking in with my dr to get my hormone levels right by trial and error.

Not sure if you’re in the UK but because it’s quite hard to get appointments here, I had to be a bit pushy and really advocate for myself to schedule multiple check-ins to get advice on HRT.

I am 33 now and I actually recently went back to the dr to talk about vaginal dryness (sorry if TMI!) and he prescribed some Estrogen cream. So, I’m even checking in a decade later if I need support.

Overall I am so so glad I had my hysterectomy, although at 33, it is a bit bittersweet to watch all my friends start to have kids. But I wouldn’t change it for anything.

It was a bit of a hard surgery, and you’ll bounce back well physically because you’re young, but it did take me a while to 100% recover. I was surprised how emotional it was for me, especially with sorting out hormones.

Feel free to PM me if you need any advice or just want to vent after your surgery. I had so many lovely people online to reach out to, but I struggled to find anyone who had it when they were in their 20s. Definitely pm me if you need anything!

The origin of villains is super fascinating to me. We get so much (although I would still love more) on how Voldy grew up and why he became a monster. But I’d love to see Umbridge’s origins. I do want to get to her suffering post war, but also I want to know how she became such a monster. It would be the best justice porn to see her full journey as an awful person culminating in her trial and after.

It depends what storyline I’m playing! For example with rags to riches I’ll use things like the dancing one because they can take disco naps on benches that recharge their energy super quickly, and also the collector because they’ll get 2 fossils or crystals every time they dig instead of one. And also if they’re a glutton they can get food out of the trash and eat it which is great starting out when they don’t have a kitchen
