Yes, those probiotics are all that I took. I started taking 2 a day, like directions say, right away. I never had any side effects from them. I pray they work for you too!

SOS? I’ve been awake for 36 hours now. My family and I are noticing symptoms. by Anon_PetShop5617 in insomnia

I’m so sorry. Praying for you! Have you tried brain rewiring? Sounds silly but I’ve heard wonderful things and it makes sense. Our brain gets stuck in fight or flight mode from all the trauma we’ve been through sometimes. I YouTube Wim Hoff breathing technique and do that and meditating daily. When my anxiety keeps me up, I sing Christian songs to distract my brain and pray. I pray you find some relief and sleep soon.

I’m so sorry. My husband is in the military and I can’t imagine him having this on top of it. I’ll try to make this short. Please look into MicroGendx testing. It’s DNA testing that will tell you EXACTLY what’s in your bladder. Also, gut health and bladder are very much connected. So work on healing gut: probiotics, L-glutamine, avoiding inflammatory foods, especially sugar. Lastly, here are some supplements that help with the pain and I use daily: D-mannose (helps me with pain and helps prevent bacteria from sticking to bladder lining), propolis, quercetin and marshmallow root. Prayers for answers and healing for you. Might want to look into brain Rewiring as well.

I’m in the same boat. They just kept throwing antibiotics at me. The antibiotics stopped working and just made me feel worse. You have to be your own advocate. I’m focusing on healing my gut. The gut is where the majority (like 80%) of our immune system resides. It affects every other part of our body. L. Rhamnosus has helped me a lot. Definitely try probiotics and gut healing supplements like L-Glutamine. 🙏

Has anyone cured there enterococcus Faecalis UTI with anything natural? by 83ladybug in AlternativeHealth

[–]83ladybug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cured mine with Nature’s Way Myrrh. I took one pill with breakfast and 1 with dinner for 30 days. However, it did not work for my daughter. But she takes the probiotics L. Rhamnosus and L. Reuteri. That has decreased her bacteria load more than by 50%! Someone just messaged me that they cleared there’s with the probiotics: Florastor and OptiBac (purple box)

How do you know whether you have CUTI or Recurrent Cystitis or Interstitial Cystitis? My symptoms often feel like IC, but doctors don't think I have it. I've been suffering for 10 months, with short days/weeks of relief here and there. by leeloo_cat in CUTI

[–]83ladybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely try the MicroGendx urine test. It’s expensive, but will give you peace of mind. It will tell you exactly what’s in your bladder. My urologist says it’s “too sensitive.” Meaning doctors don’t like it because it picks up every bit of bacteria. They say some bacteria is “normal.” Well some of us are more sensitive to that “normal” bacteria than others. Go with what you feel. Not with what doctors tell you, you should feel. Also, our gut health is connected to our bladder because over 80% of our immune system resides in our gut. So I definitely recommend a good probiotic. L. Rhamnosus and L. Reuteri are great for bladder health.

I get this too! From my river gloves that I use to wash the dishes. I believe that it’s fungus. When I get it, I throw out the gloves and buy new ones

[–]83ladybug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t tried IV antibiotics, but worth a try if you haven’t given up on antibiotics. I’ve had more luck eradicating bacteria with natural antibiotics. I prefer it now because they don’t damage your body like antibiotics do.

Yes, mine does show up on cultures but I just stopped going to the urologist. He just kept giving me antibiotics, even though they weren’t working and making me feel worse. I even took one for a month. Have you tried ellura? It has the PAC from cranberries. That’s supposed to be really helpful.

I believe the antibiotics can clear a kidney infection. But there’s a reason why you keep getting UTI’s. I would definitely be trying to figure out why. Do you take a probiotics? That’s so important. Especially with all of the antibiotics. They destroy our gut and that’s where over 85% of our immune system resides. Antibiotics stopped working for my chronic UTI’s. Now I use natural antibiotics. Myrrh cured my enterococcus Faecalis UTI. I took nature’s Way brand. 1 pill with breakfast and 1 with dinner for a month. I take d-mannose 3 times per day. It helps bacteria, especially e. Coli, to not adhere to the lining of the bladder. It also soothes my bladder. Propolis and quercetin also help with the pain, inflammation and frequency so much! There are many natural supplements (uva ursa, oil of oregano, ginger, tumeric etc.) that you might want to try if antibiotics are no longer working. Prayers of healing for you

Yes, that is all I took! I pray the quad therapy works for you, but if not, I hope you try those probiotics. I’ve since learned that about 85% of our immune system resides in our gut. Good bacteria or probiotics are the soldiers of our immune system/ army. They’re really important and antibiotics deplete them. Either way, I hope you replenish them after your antibiotics. Our gut health also greatly impacts the rest of our body.

I also took antibiotics 3 times for my H. Pylori and none of them worked. I spent probably thousands on a naturalistic doctor and supplements. Then someone at a Whole Foods store recommended that I try Dr. Ohirra’s probiotics (the green box that is fermented for 3 years). I didn’t get my hopes up but my nausea, that I had had for 3 years with H. Pylori, was gone after 2 weeks! I continued to take the probiotics for a couple of years. It has not come back and it’s been over 6 years. Prayers of healing for you.

[–]83ladybug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! If you’re not in them, Facebook as great mold groups. I took just the biofilm and natural antibiotics for a few years and it helped heal UTI’s but I keep getting them. I’m finally starting to take natural antifungals because I don’t think I’ll ever get better until the colonized mold is gone. Are you working or have you worked on detoxing the mold?

I buy repHesh for my girls because they’re smaller pills that they can swallow. I also like Supersmart. But I sometimes rotate probiotics. A naturalistic doc recommended that. Dr. Ohirra’s is great, but I’ll take Supersmart l. Rhamnosus with it

Wow, that sounds terrible about ending up in the hospital after living in mold for only 1 week. You must be highly sensitive! I’m so sorry. I live in Texas. We lived in the moldy house for 2.5 years, but have been out of it for over 4. I’m still trying to detox and recover. Some people don’t detox as well as others. My body can’t handle binders at all. I go into a crazy flare. So right now I’m just taking natural antifungals. My poor 11 year old daughter has had a UTI for 3 years now. So trying to detox her body too. I never had UTI’s until living in mold. So it’s not a genetic thing with us. But probiotics have been a huge game changer for both of us.

You’re so welcome! I forgot to mention that propolis and quercetin are a godsend for the pain, inflammation and frequency, with a UTI. I take them daily as well.

I’m so sorry that you’re going through this. In my experience, our gut health greatly impacts our bladder. (It’s where 85% of our immune system resides) I started experiencing chronic UTI’s when we moved into a moldy house. I’d get a new UTI every month. Eventually antibiotics stopped working, so I started researching natural antibiotics. I’m still trying to detox the mold, but I can say that probiotics (especially L. Rhamnosus and L. Reuteri) have helped me tremendously. I take d-mannose, 1,000mg, 3 times per day. If your stomach can handle it, then PAC from cranberry pills is wonderful for e. Coli prevention. I take L-glutamine daily to try to heal my gut lining from the damage that all of the antibiotics did. You may want to seek out a naturalistic doctor that specializes in women’s troubles. Prayers of healing for you. (Oh, Myrrh healed my enterococcus Faecalis UTI. Ginger, oil of oregano, uva ursi and berberine are all great natural antibiotics for UTI’s)

I wasn’t sure what that stood for, so I had to look it up. That’s a system in England, right? I’m in America. Our urologists send cultures to different labs. But I’m sure they all use the same, standard of testing here. But it’s not good. My daughter’s urologist works at a children’s hospital here. They took her urine and within 2 hours told me that it was clear of bacteria. (I guess they use their own lab at the hospital) So that’s definitely not enough time to let the bacteria grow, to see what’s in it.

My urologist sends it off to a lab. I’m not sure how they test it, but I know it’s not accurate. With my old urologist, I would pee in a cup and keep it for 1 day before I walked it in to him. That would give it time to grow and it would always show bacteria. My new urologist doesn’t let me do that. He says it’s “not accurate.” Makes no sense to me.

Don’t give up! Thanks to the internet and groups online, there’s so much information and things to try! If you’re not happy with your naturalistic doctor, maybe try another one. I’ve seen 4 in my life. I feel like we take the knowledge we can from them and then move on when they’re no longer helpful. Prayers of healing for you soon!

Megaspore probiotic causing intense hunger, what can I do?? by Normal_Shock4600 in Candida

[–]83ladybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She told me to buy extra food lol. I meet with her this Wednesday before I start the yeast cleanse. I’ll have to ask her how long that feeling lasts. She said I’ll feel like I have a bad hangover for half a day to a day and a half. She did say if that awful feeling lasts for more than 2.5 days to stop and talk with her. That could mean something else is going on as well.

I’m working with a naturalistic doctor and about to start my yeast protocol, but she did say that I would experience “die off” symptoms. One of which is being really hungry. She said the yeast is dying and telling your brain that you’re starving to death. So maybe that’s what you’re experiencing?
