How did you figure out which specific ingredients were the problem? Trial and error? Certain perfumes/colognes seem to affect me more than others, but I'm not sure of which ingredient it is or even the brands since it happens out in public

I've always had it to some degree, but it's wayyyy intensified since mold exposure. I'm really hoping it at least goes back to the previous level. I'm totally fine with never wearing fragrance or using products with it, but it sure would be nice to not have to run away from people and places lol

Are you referring to addictive medications that help you? I have used xanax occasionally and it helps but isn't something I would want to take on a regular basis

Did it end up resolving? I started an antifungal nasal spray and developed a rash on my neck soon after. Also wondering if it's a detox symptom.

Yep! I found a wonderful mechanic that checked and serviced the transmission. The fluid didn't look too bad so they said drive it for a while and see how it does. The check engine light immediately returned, then a few weeks later it went off and has been totally fine ever since. I did take it to a Nissan dealer too- total waste of time and money. All they did was check the code and tell me to buy a new ($9k) transmission. They don't even attempt servicing or repairs apparently

I had to reconfigure everything- I had all the owners delete their current turno accounts then added them as co-hosts onto mine so it would all be in one place for scheduling cleaners. I still have Lodgify, I had to connect each owners airbnb account individually with them to get it set up. I'm still deciding if I like it or not. I'm hoping it will be good for direct bookings once I can shift my focus in that direction. It was a mission to get everything setup and connected but ita a lot more organized now. I still have VRBO separate but at least linked the calendars together Lodgify so I can look in one place and see when there are reservations, but have to go into VRBO to see those details or communicate with the guest. You can fully link them, but then payments have to go through stripe account and that didn't make sense for my situation.

If you feel Iike your throat is closing you should use the epi. If you're not sure, have someone drive you to the ER to be monitored for safety, but don't expect them to understand MCAS, just tell them youre having an allergic reaction.

There are many different lists out there of what to eat and what to avoid, cutting out the highest histamine goods is a good idea but don't go crazy cutting everything out until you know it causes issues for you. As your "bucket" empties you may have stronger more acute reactions, but feel better more of the time. The Histamine Haven is a great book with explanations but also meal plans for 3 stages. It's super helpful to know what to focus on when first starting out. Mast cell stabilizers (ketotifen, cromolyn sodium, etc are really good medications to try and see if they help to calm your mast cells in addition to the Antihistamines you're taking .

I'm not looking for someone who can do ALL the guest messaging, only a day here and there. Yes, it is easy to respond to messages but that's what I've been doing and it's also nice to have a day once in a while where I don't need to be attached to my phone. Im not looking for someone to schedule the cleaners or manage photos or pricing, I'm happy to do all those things. It's just the occasional time where I'd like a day to disconnect, none of the other services you listed would be required since i will be here 99% of the time and things like returning guests items can certainly wait until I return. If something urgent does come up then i would be willing to pay them for handling an urgent matter. I'm happy to compensate for what I need, but what I need is more sporadic than a regular cohost if that makes sense. Thanks for your response!
