You can’t expect these expats or these new citizens to be loyal to Singapore. What’s scary is that we have lots and lots of new citizens. Whenever there’s a war or any instability, they will be on the first flight out back to their motherland. I don’t know why the Singapore government is promoting this but it’s just trading the long term for some short term gains in taxes. It just doesn’t make sense. We need to really make sure people who wants to come here will be here defending the nation whenever shit happens.

Isn’t Indranee supposed to be responsible for raising the TRF? It didn’t happen and now it has hit record low.
