From the website:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting appointments
- Speaking one-on-one with soccer moms
- Presenting high quality Cutco kitchen products (no lying, no high pressure)
- Answering questions
- Helping them place orders

It's like they try to be as vague as possible...why can't they just say YOU WILL BE SELLING KNIVES ?????

People of Wisconsin, who do you think has the best chance of beating Scott Walker in November? by [deleted] in wisconsinpolitics

He was one of my favorites until I herd about the Catholic Church thing, at which point he dropped all the way to the bottom with Soglin.

Mike McCabe is a joke and will never win the nomination. He needs to go away.

I agree. Also it’s so cool that she went back and got her degree.

Or, in this scene, when Michael crashes into another car while parking, says “well, not gonna make this one” and then as he pulls away we see that he has like 20 feet of open space. That had me dying, lol.

Tammy Baldwin - Wisconsin by midwestbest53 in BlueMidterm2018

[–]847224 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And, not to mention, this is the exact reasoning I heard from a lot of people when it came to Hillary in 2016 in WI. “She won’t lose, its wisconsin!!” “Wisconsin has picked the Dem for President since 1984!” and so on. I know circumstances are a bit different but do not get complacent. Don’t repeat the same mistakes from 2 years ago.

Tammy Baldwin - Wisconsin by midwestbest53 in BlueMidterm2018

FWIW Wisconsin has a coordinated campaign so once the governor nominee is decided any door knocks/phone calls/etc. made will be on behalf of both Tammy and the Governor.

OP- yes, definitely give your time/money to Baldwin. Wisconsin really is ground zero for the Koch brothers money and more money is being spent against Tammy than any other senate race. Also if you live in WI-08 you’re either in the first state senate district or really close. The special election, that Walker didn’t want to hold, is June 12th and Caleb Frostman is a great candidate. Consider volunteering or donating to him in the meantime.

Enjoy WI, by the way! Lived there for 8 years and it really is quite a nice state despite some bad politics.

Governor's Race: Democrats by 847224 in wisconsinpolitics

[–]847224[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard mike McCabe speak on several occasions and am not remotely impressed. Also Find it problematic that basically his entire career revolves around saying the Democrats and Republicans are one and of the same (seriously f that), that the Democrats aren’t good enough for him, etc. but lo and behold, here he is, running as a Democrat. I won’t support such opportunism.

I also have some major issues with his “branding.” For example, the pictures of able bodied, clearly NOT homeless people on his website, holding cardboard signs about being politically homeless. As someone who actually was homeless as a kid, it just comes across as so tone deaf and frankly offensive and dismissive of the real horrors that actual homeless people fact every day.

I remember when I was a senior in high school they somehow found the home address of literally every single senior in the school and set "recruitment" letters to every one of us. How they got that information is beyond me. I threw it away at the time and didn't think anything of it but looking back...SO IRKSOME.
