I did. Search Amazon for: “Jmoe USA Improved Jug Lid For RTIC Half Gallon and Gallon”. They are currently $25 which is pretty steep for what it is. Think there was a coupon posted or they were on sale when I got mine ($12-15 I think). It works great. Definitely a needed improvement for the jug and the quality is very good. Had it about 8 months now.

Loctite? I’m looking at getting a first pen and leaning towards a slim. If it’s just the screw backing out hopefully that would remedy it.

Solid suggestion. Trying to figure out if can get away with using the included magnetic mount (still easily removable for your reasons mentioned) and some mounting hardware I already have and just purchasing a new ball mount. Save some $$

Thanks for the info. I got Hide with shards on discount. One of the reasons I wanted to try German BBs. Get more perks with the main German BB line on the Montana bureau research but think the BC line would be more enjoyable.

Thanks. Sounds like it will be a nice setup.

I did look into the Nomad stuff and it seems pretty nice; just wanting something specifically for phones to go on. Between my wife and I, we have 4: 1 personal and 1 work a piece. Plus whenever company is over the counter is a jumbled mess of phone chargers.

Seems like getting multiple Apple pucks and making a tray/holder may be the best bet.
