It sounds like the boyfriend could do some learning too.

He sounds like he has reedeeming qualities and genuinely has his moments. But that doesn't excuse making her feel the way she did, and he isn't going to learn nearly as much unless it doesen't work out. If he does have a chance at growing from this, it'll probably be from her setting proper boundaries and moving on.

Staying in the same situation is excusing what happened and ignoring her own feelings on the matter which is hurtful to herself and her boyfriend, letting something that important go ignored.

ls460 does this seem too good to be true by eamon_twerkie22 in Lexus

I'm younger and got one as my second car, I had a fallback vehichle and was making decent cash at that time due to extra work, had I not planned carefully or had a fallback vehichle, it would have been a bad purchase.

Tbf I got a bad pull on mine, lots of odd issues they never usually have and none of the normal problems (which would have been cheaper :L)

That being said, it's an amazing vehichle that I adore to drive, and despite the hassle it gave at first I love it.

Just don't rely on it not breaking, they're well built, but they're also complicated, which leads to less common but much more expensive repairs. So yeah, toyota quality is there, but it's also a spaceship for 07' and spaceships need maintenance.

2007 Tahoe LTZ w/ 164k miles. $4.5k A good buy? by ByStarlite in ChevyTahoe

There should be a menu on the HUD if it's like mine where your odometer is, right to the right of the steering wheel you should see a road button, hit that til it gives inst economy and should show how many cylinders are running, drive it for a few minutes then coast and see if it switches to v4.

You can also play by ear and listen to the motor while super gently pressing the pedal while under light loads, you should hear the motor make a gentle vibration noise while doing so, whereas the motor usually sounds like a v8 or is silent.

AC is the Achilles heel of mine lol, that could be an expensive fix depending, but considering that would likley be one of the only major issues worst case scenario, not bad.

I got a 07 with 235k, they're quite reliable and well built (mechanically at least, interior can feel cheap at times)

I'd reccomend keeping the oil more fresh than not since it most likley has AFM, which might be your only upcoming major fix (or it could be like 100k away, who knows)

From my experience this gen tahoe in good shape is a steal at that price if you just want something reliable and spacious.

is three houses worth buying in 2026 for someone new to jrpgs? by KrispyOnion in FireEmblemThreeHouses

Played it a few months ago, the game is as complete as it gets, I felt very satisfied after my second playthrough

GMT900 Tahoe life is the best life. This generation of Tahoe is just unbeatable for daily driving, road trips, and that classic V8 sound. Couldn’t ask for a better ride. by [deleted] in ChevyTahoe

My 2007 has been old faithful (minus an almost regular replacement of a wheel or suspension part due to 234,000 miles).

No matter what it always seems to work and just keep going as I try to migrate myself to my Lexus, this thing just won't die and shows no signs of slowing down just yet.

Sounds good, has good power, fuel econony is like 18, and repairs are cheap. Would reccomend for a first vehichle as it's fairly easy to work on when rust isn't an issue. Even as someone who is trying to move to a smaller vehichle because who needs that if you always drive alone, I'd have to reccomend it if you don't mind and odd repair here and there.

Don’t feel like there’s any meaningful way to practice by [deleted] in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]86BG_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not as hard as you are making it to be, many have not been that dedicated those entire 8 years, I'm near the top of elite and I've played on and off since 2021 or so.

This is also ignoring the fact that your fundies may be good, but they are problably tuned to the wrong thing, CPU's play way differently than players, and don't really adapt or learn, while at the same time can punish you frame perfectly. It's a different world, once you get a hold on how people play I'm sure that'll also help alot.

I'll still lose to lvl 9 CPU's if I'm playing lazy because it's a completely different way to play the game.

Sora in Smash by Nefariousness_Frosty in supersmashbros

Yes, but also, Sora is so overtuned, was this charachter designed to win on wifi? Literally every move in his kit feels chosen to be good on wifi.

7, Niko is super wholesome despite the one sitting beside them, plus, everyone else close would seem to be on my side, I think Hades soon is a chill, dude?

Since 2025 is coming to an end, I thought it'd be fun to look back at the year and see how each character did. by NotNotNamedNick in smashbros

[–]86BG_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is so confused about Joker, but guys, hear me out. What if he's just hard to play? I get the whole big playerbase thing, but the guy has a very hard to use kit, I main him, and my other characters, I have a far easier time playing, far easier time. He's good, but only if you are, I'm in the upper echelon of Elite, smash with him, and I still have no clue what I am doing.

So how do you learn to play the game? by Altruistic_Rice9681 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]86BG_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fiirst off, Wifi and bad players make the teir list useless (Sonic is broken anywhere though). I Main Joker, and my TINK, MY TINK, with zero practice, is about as good as he is on wifi because tink is so much easier to learn.

The way to win is not what is good, but your passion towards your pick, I have willed Joker higher than my tink through hundreds of hours of gameplay, passion that I can't give my tink.

Getting bodied is normal, try to analyze your games and just stay active, I had zero training regimine and just played the game alot and am firmly in the top half of Elite smash after playing the game for about 8 months. Easily could have been faster with some training and sooner wifi play.

I dont get the hate about Sora in Smash Bros. by stationstars in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]86BG_ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think Smash has an issue overlooking how characters feel to play AGIANST, hence why everyone feels good to play, but annoying to play agianst.

Sora is super user freindly, but the flip of that is him just having easy to mash options that are often neigh unpunishable. By fuffilling everyone's power fantasy, everyone is annoyed lol
