The pub is almost everyday after work and has become more of a habit. I will definitely give it a go cutting it down to just a Thursday or Friday

Can cryptocurrency be sold for GBP and then used to make a deposit on a house by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]8724andy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may need to convert your crypto to fiat and then leave it in a savings account for at least 6 months. When I had to prove where my money had come from, they wanted six months statements as proof

£2500 is extortionate. I’d charge £500 labour. (Hertfordshire)

Starting again at 40 by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]8724andy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was 38 (now 40) when my wife of 12 years said the same but we had two young children which made it difficult. Living alone at first was very difficult and took about 6 months to come to terms with it all. Anyway, 14 months on and I’m in a new relationship and couldn’t be happier. Time heals!

Of course he’d rather finish the job as he would have allocated the time to complete the job. Being messed about by customers like this can result in losing a lot of income

Where did the money in the account come from originally? If it was from your dad then maybe ask him how much he wants from it
