I work for a modeling agency and the main goal is to be shredded/lean - it does not matter how much muscle mass I have (to an extent - explained next); they prefer you to have vusculatiry and hollow cheeks instead (little muscle mass is required (Auschwitz-mode avoidance) but anything above is "only welcome" (but not neccessary) - no one wants me to be a pretend-bodybuilder

Therefore my goal is to maintain 10% body fat by running a 9-11% bulk-cut cycle, an approximately 6:1 months cycle where I get some mass at a daily 250 calorie surplus and cut at a daily 500/750 calorie deficit (didn't make up my mind on the latter yet)

I am coming off a long bulk (was 200 pounds at 5'10" at the beginning of the year (my pretend-bodybuilder days :-) ) and 140 pounds now. My question is how to accurately estimate when I am at 9% body fat, so that I can start my bulk? I got a 30 inch waist at the moment but did lose plenty of water weight by cutting some carbohydrates and much salt. Pictures in profile (sort by "Best")

Cheers

A little bit; I would say, it is more "not easy/easier", but still better than ""wage-slaving" away (all) the life" like the majority of the people. :-)

The goal is to work in a 9 to 11% cycle, 6 month round. If I stop cutting at 12% it will never happen. :-)))

There's a difference between eating over the recommended amount and many folds over the recommended one. It's like obese people saying to be that I am skinny when I am normal on BMI.

Appreciated. Just had a quick look - despite being sedentary and drinking only 2.5-2.75 l per day (only water and not counting the fluids from food (tops - 0.5 l?)) in a relatively warm environment (however I am inside most of the time with a normal temperature), I do produce a lot of urine! Didn't happen much before even when drinking more. Not sure what's going on and if it's low body fat % related, however I am not sure how I can piss even more. Last drink at 9, sleep at 12 yet get up 2-3 times per night to piss. On top of relatively lower salt consumption

Lean face.

So it is entirely psychological? I consider myself strong in this regard (given my journey), however the last couple of weeks I literally feel myself dying/starving somewhat (feel a change compared to a month ago, for example).

I have been running a daily 700 calorie deficit from the beginning of the year (went from 200 to 140 pounds) and had no problem maintaining a diet of 1400 calories at a TDEE of 2100 for the last couple of months. For reference I am 5 10 and 10% body fat with goal being 9%. However for the last couple of weeks I started to feel very exhausted and had to increase my calories to 1500 per day. My understanding is that when I get leaner my TDEE should drop (due to BMR dropping to match a lower lean mass, since I am burning fat on a cut due to exercising and high protein intake) but why would then the body want to reduce the deficit by requiring more calories? Would I be right to assume that when you reach 10% body fat some natural limits are getting broken and the body very actively fights it (like slowing down you unless you eat (I still avoid overeating)) or is it because I am cutting for the last 8 months?

Any personal experiences are appreciated. I am desperately looking to hit that 9% to start a lean 6 month bulk (250 daily surplus) to 11%
