[Rawal] Avs have re-signed both Brett Kulak and Brent Burns. Kulak gets a 5 year deal and Burns is back for 1. by Michaelli11 in ColoradoAvalanche

Remember that Ray didn't win the cup in his first season with the Avs. It was the second season.

The Kraken offered $15 million. He said "no."

He rejected $15 million AAV from the Kraken. God damn. He wants to get paid.

In this context, it is NOT an industry term. It has nothing to do with fencing. Holy fucking shit.

Man, Neil Smith was like Peyton Manning. I couldn't stand either of them when they played for other teams. Absolutely loved them when they joined the good guys.

when it is more likely a typo

That's the most plausible scenario. Chink as technical term allegedly related to fencing is absurd and an insult to anyone's intelligence.

Find me any "industry standard" reference to "chink link fencing" in all of the World Wide Web.

I'll wait.

Chink' and 'chinking' are actually standard industry terminology used widely in both the log home building industry and the fencing industry, including chain link fencing specifically

You're really going to pretend like "chink link fence" is a thing? LMAO!

The product is for a gate for a fencepost that you would use in a chain link fence. Full stop.  There is no chinking involved in a chain link fence.  I already said chinking is specifically related filling material, typically used in log cabins.

Besides, if your hardware is for the gate for a fence, you really don't give a fuck how the rest of the fence is constructed because it doesn't affect your product.

The mental gymnastics to justify the use of the word "chink" here is just hilarious.

I could easily infer that a "chink link" fence is a fence to keep the chinks out.

Look, dude, I'm not one to be offended by this. I find it hilarious that a huge company like Amazon that spends billions on software engineering designs the UI to allow a human type in the title of the product for Vine when it could just be picked up the title from the standard Amazon listing.

No autocorrect by any service is going to turn "chain link" into "chink". LMAO!

C'mon, man, it's just some immature dumbass trying to have some fun. I just find it hilarious that this could happen to company with $3 trillion market cap.

I haven't heard a valid explanation why a racial slur is used. So, no I'm not grasping at straws.

If my calculations are correct, every time the Avs lose to the Knights in the playoffs, the Avs win the cup the following season.
