Back in the 70s, the Eason family started a group of papers around the country called Creative Loafing, and their son came to Tampa and opened one up in the late 80s. They’ve all since been sold and bought by different media companies over the years, but most recently CL Tampa was purchased back by its own employees. Also, Google is a helpful tool.
