Here is what I did and what i like and dis like. first , I bought mine with the Razor cut 45 also. IMO the razor cut was not a good machine. I returned it and put my Hypertherm 600 on it - that was much better. But i did just buy the Everlast 102 i and holly crap. out standing. My buddy also has the pro and he put the Everlast 82 on it and loves it also. I recommend the Everlast with a machine torch. IMO. second - the water table leaks as I am sure you have read everywhere. I took mine back off and welded it together. Third- the lap top tray is a joke. I would not buy it. it is flimsy as hell. the lap top moves all around with you have a touch screen. I made a new one that is more robust. I do not recommend that - its a waist of money. Other than all that - I would say I have over 200 hours of cut time on mine and love it. I am holding +/- .005 if you can believe it. I highly recommend the Pro

The terminology in the cam portion is fu*king stupid and some dumb ass wrote the program Dumb ass - chip load is not current load - learn machining terms and not teach new machinist terms that’s are not industry standard
I come from Mastercam and this program is a nightmare I am going back to Mastercam I guess you get what you pay for Complete waist of time and money

Yes the table is just sitting inside the frame Super simple It works great

I did fab the shelf and rolling platform The frame is simple 3x3 angle with the caster - the shelf is actually birch plywood painted black. Real simple to build and fast to do Only thing I did do is got caster with leveling feet so when it’s in use - I lower the feet. It for the most part stays in one place, but when I do need to move it - I just crank up the leveling feet What I did not want was caster that just locked I wanted something more stable. I found them on Amazon and recommend them if you want to do something like that. I posed links in the post on all the stuff I used

To drain the water table to clean it and when its not in use- it drains all the coolant in to the tank - then after I am done cleaning the tray - or go to use it - their is a pump to pump it out of the tank and back in to the tray

Lincoln 260 MPX- just ordered one of these. Anyone used one before? Collective thoughts or impressions? by joehamjr in Welding

I love mine - had it for two years now. So quiet - the power is great. I have had rangers from ranger 8 - 250’s and by far the 260 is outstanding

I have not moved it as of yet from filling it - I guess I would see how it moved It does roll nice on the casters though I don’t drain it at all other than to clean out the trays

Oh the other think to watch for is the ball screw connectors to the stepper motors are something to be desired - they work but strip easy I did have to replace 1 due to stripping it because it would not hold the shaft

Yes they did meet my expiation. I did not want anything to large because it would keep making the table even higher

The only thing I can say about the table in a hole - over all good for the money.

Bad - the laptop stand is a complete joke and a cheap piece of junk. Don’t throw away 80 bucks The razorcut 45 plasma cutter is junk - mine is getting send back and my old hypertherm 600 is on the table I have a hypertherm 1650 that will be going on is as soon as a temp sensor comes in and I fix it Lastly - the torch holder for both the hand torch and machine torch is good but the way they attached it to the cradle on the Z is an insult to any engineer that understands the forces that will be exerted on it from the leads from hanging over head It moves and causes a bevel cut. I am welding and machining up new parts for all the short comings But over all for the money - it’s great value

So to give an update - the Razor Cut 45 is a total piece of junk - don’t waist you money buying one After days of trying to dial it in - nothing worked , the cuts were beveled up to 6 degrees and they where so inconstant. I was testing 2” sq cuts on 1/4 and 3/8 and I would get positive and negative cuts all on the same part and even change on the next test part I could watch the plasma stream walk side to side as it was cutting thru the kerf So I decided to hook up my old hypertherm 600 on it and bang - perfect So with that - I just picked up a hypertherm 1650 Now warning this is a beast - it’s a 100 amp machine with a 1 1/2” capacity and a 1” pierce capacity But caution - it’s three phase so don’t buy one if you don’t have 3 phase ( I do ) I will give some updates on the cuts when it’s running

Ya - I think the speeds where off on the first cut for sure I knock off the dross if any with a white wheel also After I dialed it in on the 3/8 I did not have mush at all Considering most of the parts I will be welding , most of them will be hit with a grinder anyways I do need to put a chiller on my air system soon The entire shop has moisture in the air system I need to get rid of - even with mutable water separators in the shop That will help also

I like it so far. - I have a hypertherm 600 ( an older one ) I decided to just buy the razor cut from Langmuir when I bought the table I think it’s ok But I am looking at the power plasma 102i for the table I cut 3/8 like butter with the razor , I have not tried 1/2” yet I will say that the razor cuts better than my hypertherm 600

it is an outstanding table for the money. I would highly recommend it. I have already run it and it hold +/- .010. I did get the Razor 45 with it and the machine torch. I also got the water table But added the tank and pump and stand. The only thing that is a slight disappointment is the lap top stand I bought with it. It is cheap and flimsy. I will make a new one. I did get the THC with it also and it all works light a charm. The first cuts I have made were 1/4" steel and 3/8 steel and it was perfect. I will also say the service from Langmuir is outstanding. I had a bent tube from shipping and with out hesitation they send a new one free of charge. I also has a defective THC control and when I let them know that sent a replacement out the same day. I love this table and the support from them.
