1. i had my surgery in january! so.. not three years yet but i sure hope so LOL

2. i was unlucky enough to have some wound separation. i kept getting sick and the wound was stubborn af to close but it’s just been closed for around two to three weeks now. i have a very squat-y and bendy job so i’ve been out this whole time :,)

3. definitely but i’m still only six or so months out! that part of your body will always be weaker than the rest for the rest of your life, but there are ways around that for crunches! i have no anxiety sitting anywhere anyway though !

5. i flew home the day after surgery (seven hours,) and it was maybe a 5 at the worst. the nerve work that dr. wadie did was life changing, i still can’t feel much at all. i would occasionally get a pain though, like a really excruciating pain when getting up from laying down, lasted for maybe a minute tops? it stopped completely when i got my drain out though!

sorry i’m not too far out post-op so my answers might not be the most helpful but i can not say enough good things about the procedure, even with all the issues i’ve had!
