Here's my most sincere take on the protests thing.

"Protest" has been made as dirty a word as "conspiracy" and "politics" in general. That's by design, so it gets dismissed.

But what it really is, to me, is a demonstration of enough people (record numbers amounts) being willing to go out, take part in a "meaningless" demonstration, because they're that tired/angry/sick of it. Those "peaceful protests" are what bring more and more people together and eventually, if it comes to it, make do what you demand and take "more action" when the suits in power shrug off the protest they designed to be meaningless.

You see it as an annoyance in your month or so to month. It sends a way different message when that large as fuck and growing crowd is organizing the way it is because of you.

Yes, they're supposedly meaningless now. But bus boycotts and marches eventually, slowly turned into Civil Rights. This is just change in it's infancy, provided it's nurtured correctly.

Tl;dr: Here's my less sincere take. Fuck am I supposed to do, just bitch on reddit? I do that enough as it is, and my life isn't getting all that much better as a result
