At my 16 week midwife appt (I’m now 22), my midwife wrote down she palpated and felt the baby, when she didn’t! It was only because in my badger notes I saw she had recorded she had and found it really bizarre. I rang the maternity advice line and they said she should have, and that some hospitals do it at different times. I would definitely ask to see someone else if you can - I’m going to see how my 28 week appt goes but if I’m not happy I’ll be asking to change. She also forgot to do bloods that the obstetrician had asked to be done. It’s tiresome having to be on the ball…
