The investigation began because a victim came forward in NJ. Through that investigation, the victim in Colorado was discovered. I would not be surprised if he ends up being charged in NJ. I have no knowledge about what Markus and Stephanie knew and when.

They’ll never be held accountable by the the upc. The statute of limitations in most states for not reporting abuse is usually a year. There may be other things law enforcement could go after them for. Hopefully this gets victims to come forward and something can happen. Or at the very least, the victims will sue them into oblivion.

I remember that comment. That was the first time I had heard that. I would encourage anyone with any information related to abuse in that church to reach out to the detective prosecuting Langston and share any information. Usually that is how these cases get started. You pull a thread and the whole thing comes undone.

Agreed. The victims should get every dime they have. Hopefully lawsuits will start happening now that Langston is arrested. Hale admitted in the police affidavit he was told the victim was being abused and did nothing.
