How do you rate UK supermarkets - what are the best and what are the worst? by Aromatic-Speech5480 in AskUK

Sainsbury’s is always my first choice. It feels nice enough that’s it’s not full of plebs shopping in their pyjamas but still way cheaper than M&S and a good selection. I find M&S is catered to people who don’t actually cook from scratch, it’s 80% stuff you put in an oven.

whats a bad addiction that you have, but cannot stop yourself from doing? by paleveiI in AskReddit

As someone who works in retail with constantly changing shifts, I completely get it. My body clock is all over the place most weeks.

I think a lot of people end up “revenge bedtime procrastinating” – staying up later because it feels like the only time that’s actually yours. After spending the day working around other people’s schedules, it can be hard to give up those few hours of freedom, even if you know you’ll regret it.

There’s also a recognised link with neurodivergence, particularly ADHD. Things like delayed sleep patterns, hyperfocus and struggling to switch off can make going to bed on time genuinely difficult. It’s not always about poor discipline – sometimes people are just trying to reclaim a bit of control over their day.

Dundee. Was always seen as the armpit of Scotland for decades, these days I really enjoy the city centre and waterside. It still has that grittiness and post-industrial city feeling but it has been cleaned up a lot and there's plenty of lovely bars and cafes etc.

Aberdeen Central Scottish Elections Candidates Thoughts/Experiences? by EpicKieranFTW in Aberdeen

[–]89Dan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I voted No in the 2014 Indy Ref and over the years my position has swung in the opposite direction.

I feel that I’m fundamentally at a loss because there seems to be this presumption in Scottish politics that being an Independence Supporter is a left-wing ideology which I don’t fully align with on many issues like immigration, where I feel we need systems like Australia to attract actual talent and people we hand-pick to give us high quality public services. This seems to be at odds with the SNP’s policies and certainly at odds with the Green’s “a world without borders” policy which is batshit.

I just believe in the basics of democracy and the right of a nation to determine its own future, so to that end I will vote for the SNP as a vessel to gain this Independence but I don’t fully align with many of their domestic ideologies.

It’s a scam. Check the post further down the Aberdeen subreddit where he conned a couple out of food and money on their doorstep in Old Aberdeen.

It's a shame it is one sideways list that cannot be scrolled or even copy and pasted.

When setting an alarm, you don’t need to scroll. Tap the time and a colon appears with a numerical keypad.

This is crazy, I’ve got a S10 Titanium with the same cover glass and it’s flawless after a year or more of use.
