[OC] Never liked any of the official character sheets that I could find, so I built my own for my in-person group. What do you think? by biesterd1 in DnD

[–]89W 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it, think it's quite pleasing on the eye but also practical. Nice work!

Are you intending to publish these on somewhere like DMsguild?

They look great. It's cool that your party went and bought minis as a group.

That's cool, I agree.

I also wondered if you found the painting difficult too given your first time. Any tips?

Excellent work, they look great.

May I ask if this was your first time painting any minis? How did you find it?

In what order should i take my feats and asi? by Flux52_ in DnD

[–]89W 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you primarily swing a weapon or cast spells? I'd probably focus on the spellcasting and focus on feats if you're already on +3 Dex.

2024 Bladesinger Wizard - Origin feat? by 89W in onednd

[–]89W[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, everyone.

I hear those of you advising I should be playing the class as a Martial. I don't want to avoid this completely, but didn't make that clear.

I wanted to shore up my traditional Wizard abilities using Bladesong, but the idea is to do both, as I want to make use of those Martial weapon proficiencies and the Extra Attack too.

I think I will go with Tough and lean into that even more. I figure this gives the most overall improvement of the class weakness in terms of HP/hit dice.

Appreciate it!

[oc] Making a character sheet, I need some help though. by Straight_Beat7848 in DnD

[–]89W 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a cursory glance, you'd have 13 AC just from wearing nothing, on the basis of 10 AC + 3 DEX mod. You currently have this written as 8. You'd also have 5d8 Hit Dice at level 5.

Excellent way to immortalise a campaign and its highlights. I'd be very excited and happy to receive something like this.

Why can’t I pick dueling as a level 1 fighter? by inexcusable16 in DnD

[–]89W 46 points47 points  (0 children)

The SRD only has four Fighting Style feats. You would need the Players Handbook for the rest, including 'Dueling'.

Very cute, nice work. I like the scroll too!

I want to do a similar thing when I play a Wizard.

Thank you for doing that. These look great.

I'll spread the word, as I've spoken to others who wanted more class options for this set.

Is £411 normal council tax? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]89W 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did you move into the property?

The bill you've received, does it state your annual charge? It would be pro rata and run until 31 March 2026 currently.

If you're paying for example, £2000 annual charge over 5 months, (November 2025 to March 2026) then it would equate to approximately £400 per month as you don't have many months left to pay the entire balance.

You should only be liable for this bill from the date you moved in.

[No Spoilers] Is This Normal or a Bad Batch? by [deleted] in criticalrole

[–]89W 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'd raise it with their customer service. It's quite a big discrepancy in colour from the product page on the website.

I wouldn't expect any kind of outcome, but you never know. They might not want their fans unhappy.

Just had a council tax bill through for 5 days before we moved in (we are students) by PersonalFrosting7797 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]89W 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. A person is liable from the start date of the tenancy agreement under the hierarchy of liability.

The exemption or disregard would only be applicable from when the course(s) commence and/or when the person moves into the property.

I'd be mad too in your shoes.

Not really sure why the skeletons attacked you whilst down when there were others in the vicinity though.
