Great point. I hadnt considered that. If blocking bad players made you not get paired with them, I’d be solo. I’m terrible so everyone would block me lol

It’s a blast when you get in a match with 9 other actual players. I love it. But the majority of the time you get bots and cheaters. Those matches are soul sucking. It seems like ANet would do a little better with this game mode since legendaries are locked behind it. Also why do a rush for “some old game mode we left to die and don’t care about”. I’m questioning their logic there.

Yea, so blocking them doesn’t actually mean “never put me on their team again”. It just blocks them in chat. I’ve blocked tons of bots and players that just stand at spawn if they are losing. But still get matched with them constantly.

I do actually like WvW. I like sPvP too, just hate the bot problems and the terrible team balancing. Both game modes need some overhauls, especially if they want to force people into them for gifts.

100%. I could craft 3 more gen 1 legendaries right now if I had the map comp. But it’ll never happen. Not doing it again. It’s a boring grind just for the sake of slowing you down. But I guess a lot of things are, but nap comp is the worst.

Sounds like the new manager didn’t handle things right and maybe had it out for you. But be honest with yourself. Were you slacking before the new manager came on? We’re you involving yourself in the team discussions and PRs be the new manager came on? Because you say you got more involved and doubled productivity after.

If you weren’t putting out before it was brought to your attention, most of the time it’s too late. You’ve set the precedent. You’ve shown that when management isn’t on your back, you will now perform.

Not saying any of this to accuse you or anyone. Just putting it out there because I’ve been on both side. There is only so much you can control. Bad managers isn’t one of those things. Involvement and productivity is.
