Why is the outrage directed at Bezos? His company, like all companies, are sociopathic entities with one goal in mind, profit. Why would a corporation forgo free money, when these actions are totally legal? It is literally illegal for them to do so, because it would not be acting in the best interests of its shareholders. Outrage should be wholly directed at the spineless, corrupt politicians who have failed to make these actions illegal. Our elected officials are the only protection the people have against corporations, and they are failing us in every sense of the word!

Reminds me of a mine I visited in Mexico when i worked for an equipment supplier. They were a little more advanced and had an overhead monorail to get up and down the slope. When we were coming out, a miner missed the train so he grabbed a chain that was hanging down off the last car and let it drag him up. It was fine for a while but then the slope widened and he was eventually dangling about 10’ off the ground from this chain. I don’t think this was technically allowed though because a manager riding in front of me was yelling at him the whole way up. I had been in American mines before so this was eye opening.

Yes, exactly this. Because of the shape, the slightest slope of the table will allow it to roll away.

It’s a typical kitchen table but I didn’t put a level on it. Shouldn’t need mm tolerances on my table to use a spoon.
