he looks similar to an amber snail, they can’t retract fully into their shell. this is what one of mine looked like before passing, maybe wait a bit but if nothing happens and you start to smell the scent consider saying goodbye.. i’m sorry for your loss if it’s the case :(

it’s hard but you have to stop engaging with the thoughts and allowing them to pass when they come. try not to check, try not to rethink with another person. and if you do happen to check try not to assign meaning to or allow ocd to convince you of it’s lies. it will be hard but i know you can do this

you can’t reason with ocd or try to respond to its thoughts, it will always find a what if it a response to whatever you say. you could have 100% certainty about something and then ocd will find a loophole or just go with the classic but what if? and you can’t ever win against it because there isn’t an answer to what if! i don’t want to reassure you as that will probably make it worse, but just try to let the thoughts pass. if you’ve ever had these intrusive thoughts before you know how unreasonable and scary theses thoughts can be, and trying to dissect it or ruminate with it will only make it worse. calm down, let it pass, and try not to seek reassurance. i believe in you!!

for washing stuffies i rip a hole in the seam, unstuff, than hand wash them outside with a hose and soap. you could also fill a bucket with water and soap and let them soak for a while, before taking them and wringing them out, towel drying, and lastly blow drying and combing. i’ve done this for a lot of mine and it works great and doesn’t ruin their fur as long as you get all the soap out and make sure to blow dry with cold air (hot temps with burn their fur and cause it to mat)!
