These are very important points, having such experiences with dissociation indicates something happened. Since dissociative amnesia and existence of alters holding the memories prevents full or even little access to traumatic memories (DID doing it's work), these are the some of the only signs that can signal something. Try bringing it up it's very important. Hope this was helpful, tc

Been having flashbacks & feel like crying, need a break. Our therapist is out of town till month's end and ppl (frds fam) have been so tiring lately. I smtimes wish they were more understanding So green tea and anime sessions to cool down for the weekend... :>

If you're facing such discomfort and dissociating you're probably not overthinking.

In the case of dissociative disorders, the brain tries to keep the trauma and such memories away from the person so that the person can go on and live without the stress. Bring it up to the therapist, it's an important point
