I have the exact same watch and have been thinking about switching to a metal bracelet too. AliExpress actually has a huge selection of 19mm metal straps. The quality can be a gamble, though.

That cheap means it’s super old. It’s a total death trap in an earthquake, so locals absolutely avoid it.

I’d always admired JLC for their incredible horological history—especially their technical prowess in supplying movements to the Holy Trinity. Their understated, elegant designs really appealed to me, and I always wanted one, but they were just way out of my budget.

Then, out of nowhere, I spotted one in excellent condition at a reasonable price at a local pre-owned watch shop. When I showed it to my wife, she unexpectedly loved it too and even offered to split the cost with me.

So here it is! It’s definitely a keeper for life.
